Huge miss yesterday, he has become pivotal to the way we play.

Would be unreal if we can find a way to have both him and Kyogo in the team while playing to both of their strengths.

Thought he was in with a chance of Ross County ? Did AP not say he would only be missing for the huns game or something along them lines ?

Ange said he’d only miss the Huns game.

We need a couple more with his attitude across the park.

Minging seeing absolute roasters like Lundstram get away with thuggery and nothing getting faced back against them.

Agreed. That for me was partly how we lost the mental battle on Sunday - no one like Brown in his prime to let the opposition know they were there

Aye he's physical, confident and likes mixing it with them..

That's why they feel threatened by him....all of them..

    We need more, no question..

The 6 position is arguably the biggest position we need to address in the summer along with the benefit that if we can bring the right player in there then McGregor can play the 8 where he is at his best.

100% the big man is first choice striker at the moment. I just knew it would be bad news for us when it was confirmed he was out for Sunday, and it proved to be the case. As good as wee Kyogo is, at times up against an aggressive, physical side he's gonna struggle.

A front 3 of Maeda....GG.....Kyogo is something I'd love to see, with the two wide men's pressing abilities it would work wonders imo.

But regardless of who gets the nod on Sunday coming, GG is the first name on the team sheet.

Kyogo is our first choice striker, let’s not lose perspective on the back of 1 result.

However, no arguments that he was a massive miss at the weekend.

I've not posted since before Sunday's game for this very reason. I know what it's like on here and twitter etc after a bad result. Everybody's * again, Rogic is done, Maeda is pish, Ange is a one trick pony etc etc.

End of the day Kyogo has been out for months and GG has been in immense form. The jersey us the big man's in this run in, no two ways about it.

When they are both fit Kyogo starts, it’s not even up for debate. There will be opportunities for both to play and it’ll be horses for courses but Kyogo is, for all intents and purposes, our first choice striker.

It is up for debate or else I wouldn't be debating it. GG has earned that.

If GG is fit, he starts ahead of Kyogo for the rest of the season.

It's a matter of current form and match sharpness. It doesn't mean GG is a better player, just that it's been working extremely well recently with him, and the wee man will need to play the supporting role for, as you say, the rest of this season.

Big GG would not have been allowed to get away with a fraction of what Lundstrum and Bassey got away with on Sunday - Madhun would have made sure of that

Ok let me frame it differently, only an idiot would argue that Kyogo is our substitute striker.
