Another player with plenty to offer but at time way to greedy around the box. If i was to pick i would now be spending the 6 million on ccv and losing jota.

Really disappointed in him. Woeful decision making at times.

He looks to me he's heading out the door at the end of the season either back to benfica or somewhere else .
He's been the shadow of the player from a few months ago and would rather play players who want to be here next season .

Too busy chewing gum and playing with his hair thinking he's Ronaldo and made it. Tricks and flicks that amount to nothing. Goes for the big glory moments himself for his YouTube highlight reel instead of passing it to the open man to score. We can do better, and believe we will.

I still think he's class. He just needs to become more of a team player.

I think he has either too much pressure on himself to make something happen alone e.g. A goal to bring us back into the game. or he believes in his own hype.

Needs to focus on the team and nothing but the team. You just need to look at GG's performances against the huns. He hasn't scored but it's clear to see what he brings to the rest of the team.

Maeda on the left against them is a definite for me. Jota gives Tavenier far too much freedom going forward.

His free header in the first half was laughable...

maybe taking lessons from Mikey Johnston. At least Jota was trying , too many of our players went missing. And, if i'm honest, i think Jota is going elsewhere, he was trying to put himself in the shop window, wee bit like Christie was doing previously.

CCV over Jota all day long for me, but i think we need wingers with more muscles / physicality, look at liverpool - not many lightweights in their teams. We all love fair players but our team is very small or light compared to most EPL teams or any others domestically.

GG up front adds menace, we need similar in midfield and if we could combine Ralston and Taylor we would be doing ok. No idea what Ange's take is on having bigger players but my own thoughts are we need a couple who can add to set play game.

Jota is a great player, but is he a team player ?

I would say he was before Christmas but not really since.

    Can he be? 100% yes.

That’s not good enough wonder how many direct contributions he has in 18 games assists can’t be many

Its funny how one game can change a narrative of a player and a team.

Granted he's not been as effective recently but still think he's been pretty good generally

Pre and post winter break Jota have been two very different players. 8 goals and 7 assists in his first 18 games. 2 goals and 4 assists in 17 since the break.

Not sure what's changed. Been a different player, though.

Hard to believe it's the same player at times since he's came back from the injury.

he's had TWO good games in 2022 and one of them was against Raith Rovers, he either turns up when we need him or he can go back to Benfica B.

Wingers can be notoriously inconsistent and young wingers even moreso. He strikes me as someone who won't be here next season though. He might want to try his hand back at Benfica. His attitude has been all off since the turn of the year.
