Maeda is never in the same bracket as GG or Kyogo through the middle. A massive downgrade.

On the left, it's a different story.

I said that before the game, he has been outstanding on the left coming inside. His worse performances have been when he starts in the middle

Think we were complacent and actually quite arrogant.

Many on here thought, maybe including Ange and the players too, that as long as we turned up and put in a shift we'd walk away with a win.

But these games are NEVER that simple, especially against 12 men.

The exact teason i tend to keep my mouth shut about smashing them.

Disappointed with the result but absolutely disgusted with some if the attitudes in that side today. Especially Jota and Maeda.

Maeda must of flaked out of about 3 or 4 50/50's in the middle of the pitch. And that "flick" he tried in the first half should see him * benched for the foreseeable.

Madhun played his part too. But we know by now thats what we're up against.

Attitude adjustments are needed all around.

And honestly, Jota might have cost himself a move with that performance.

My mistake. How can you not have him for a game like this. Scales should have been on the bench also to cover Taylor.

Times like this I sympathise with you supporters who live in amongst this filth….

…. I hate the defeat… but at least when I leave the house I know that 50% (or more) of those around me aren’t Durty Huns..

(although too many are nearly as Durty Leeds Utd fans.)

Just remember… when we wake up in the morning we might be out of the cup….

…. But will still be 6pts clear in the league….

….. and they will still be Durty, ugly hun vermin.

I know what you mean but I'm looking at our own problems first and foremost but I'm absolutely raging with that performance. Especially given the circumstances of the past week.

Our performance during 90mins wasn't great but CCV miss that would have made it 2 was crucial. If he'd scored that, as he should have done, then it's game over. Our display in ET was pathetic though, rounded off by our fannying about when we needed an equaliser. Our lack of physicality cost us today, you can't have players backing-out of tackles and losing every 50-50 ball and not suffer because of it. Defeat is never welcome but when we have to suffer a display like that from the Referee it's even more galling. He really did play a blinder for them. Still, the league is the priority so we regroup and go again.

Gut punch. That’s all it is. For us the league was always the goal and even that wasnt realistic.

If we win the league now then that’s still all that matters.

Do not beleive that for a second, we won't win every game against them even if we are superior. Results like this will unfortunately happen

If you told me Rogic didn't play a minute of that game today I'd probably believe you. As bad as Hatate & Jota were they at least made it known they were playing.

I agree with most of that. But I think you have to give them a bit of credit. Their tac tics worked in closing our midfield down.

But, how bad was our crossing. The times we got ourselves in great positions out wide and put in dreadful crosses. Jota, maeda, hatate and abada all liable.
