Problem is that GG was one of those helping to create spaces.

 

GG has been that good recently it’s kinda made people forget how absolutely brilliant kyogo was and that was in a struggling team before Christmas and before any of his Japanese buddies had signed, he’s going to be even deadlier now

 

Big blow for sure that Giako misses this weekend but thankful yes that it seems he only misses this game.

Postecoglou all but ruled Giakoumakis out of tomorrow but insisted the Greek will be on board for the run-in. And he has a fully fit Kyogo ready to be unleashed at Hampden.

The Aussie said: “Giakoumakis’ prognosis wasn’t too bad. It was nothing serious but he’ll probably miss this weekend but we’re confident he’ll be available next week.”

“David Turnbull is fine. He’s trained and James Forrest is also available.

“Kyogo trained well and did everything the boys have done. We have options – and we are going to need them.”

 

Having Turnbull and Forrest fit and available from the bench could be crucial. Good strength in depth there which may play a big role in allowing us to keep a high intensity and tempo to our play throughout the 90 minutes.
