Cheers. Lovely wee dogs. Their bark and when they shake their fur still makes me laugh. Like a third child :56:

Yeah, this is the first “small” dog in the family.

a long long long story how we got him after our previous dog died

He lives with the kids, but I see him 4-5 times a week and he loves me as I first saw him at three days old then every week till I took him “home”.

He is like another kid and a real live Ewok! (I’m Star Wars geek)

Ex and kids adore him. My son was dead against it as he was devastated at the passing of the first dog, but they have bonded like nothing I have seen before! A big 19 year old typical teenager boy who has a best pal that’s a fluff ball!

One thing though, he humps everything! Our poor male cat who is 15 needs to move sharpish when he pops in to say hello or grab a snack otherwise he’s getting a proper pumping!

Strange that he doesn’t try it on with the female cat?

    Maybe wee Echo is gay?

Hes a nutter. 13 years old and still like a puppy. My dad shouldve bred him he's too old to do it now, not that he wouldn't try all his bits are intact :56:

Aye. I've lost dogs at 11, so 13 is good innings.

Gutted for you scuzzy, what a beautiful dog and I bet you have so many happy memories and stories about your lovely dog. Know exactly how you feel buddy as I went through the same last Summer with my wee sweetheart.
Have a big dram and think of your pal you have just lost.

Can finally chip in with this thread. We picked up our first dog together. 10 week old show cocker spaniel named Fox.

He's been OK training so far, we have bypassed the puppy pads and just take him out the back every hour and only had a wee accident two or three times since Saturday. It's the teething which is frustrating for him and us right now. Someone mentioned frozen carrots so going to give that a try.

Frozen or unfrozen carrots are good for dogs. Unfrozen will scrape their teeth more and keep them clean, frozen is good for teething & keeping them nice & healthy.

    P.s., cracker dog mate!

I know exactly how you feel mate, Just lost my golden bhoy 2 months ago Friday (see above) So you spoil Madison as much as you can, once that void comes along it's brutal. Give Madison a big cuddle from me !
