Having just watched the full first half again..

we really struggled to work the ball out of defence when we didnt play through Cal Mac who was being marked high up by Ramsay.

On Cal Mac, he was vital in us establishing a foothold on the game which didnt really come until he intercepted a clearance 15mins in.
He gave us a bit of composure and some positive play alongside Rogic who used ball well in the hole.
We really seemed to attack in numbers and we won a lot of the first balls from clearances, keeping them under pressure.

Jota is worth mentioning as well, he was bright and played a few really dangerous crosses, one being the goal.
Maeda did a power of running and gave them a torrid time with his runs and movement and forced so many turnovers of possession but he lacked composure when in possession.

I didnt think our defence had a great first half but we made a few good recovering challenges. Namely Taylor. I think we did well to limit their chances with their goal and Ramsays offside effort the main ones.

Wow! First time I've heard Celtic and Central Coast Mariners (my local club) mentioned in the same sentence (except by me).

Never seen Ange so passionate in his celebration as that second goal.

    Meant a lot to him.

Celtic played the Mariners at Gosford, back at the start of the Mowbray season. Beautiful stadium that, with the view of the harbour (or it used to when I used to travel up to Terrigal pretty much every weekend, wayyy back when. Hope it's still like that). I remember when it was being built and opened, when was back in Australia for a year, working in the planning and prep for the Sydney Olympics. Seems like a lifetime ago now, lol.

Anyhow, that's by the by... still buzzing from the result yesterday :ynwacelti

I'm surprised about them not using their strength in depth over the last few weeks/months.

We were constantly told they have huge strength in depth.

There was a time that we had to field B players. Not on the bench but in our xi.

Their depth though. Shone through yesterday.

when I first started absorbing Scottish media when Ange signed and I didn’t know my left nut from my right one, I was under the impression and led to believe that Rangers had such incredible depth and heard superstar names like Kent and etc. Even our CB has more goals then most of their duds in midfield and forward

If we play them second in the split, we could win the league against them at Celtic Park. It may not be mathematically done but with the goal difference, it would be realistically out of reach for them (that's if we both gain equal points from now until then). If we get more points than then in the next two games, we'll win the league with a draw.

If it's the third game of the split, we will probably win the league with at least a draw against them.

Again, I don't think they've realised this. Halarity will ensue when they do.

It's clicked on their fans now I think. The myth that none of our players get in their side, told to * right off. They would have killed for Abada to come off the bench for them or even a 30 year old Jamesy (scored more goals in all competitions than Kent). Bitton came on and did exactly what Jack was supposed to do but better. If anyone thinks Ramsey is better than McGregor then they need to stay off the crack.

Callum McGregor is the best player in Scotland by a distance, and has been for quite some time.

How cool were Rogic and McGregor after the equaliser. you could see Hatate and Jota getting ready to give it a huge celebration but those two just calmed it down, kept it under control. You can see McGregor take control of a mini huddle as they’re celebrating. Cool it guys, still a job to do - that kind of thing. Great maturity and leadership from senior heads in the team

Had a quick lurk on a hun forum to do some tear tasting...

Frankly, I was disappointed at the lack of hysteria and hubris. Some of them clearly appreciate how low they have fallen and were sadly realistic about how long it will take them to be a force again.

So, they have failed at providing me with entertainment.

It will have I know he can say how thick skinned he is to all that nonsense when he first joined but he is human and will be relishing making particularly those in the media look daft.

Also in the game we had created 3 or 4 good openings after getting back to 1-1 and not capitalised, so there was probably a bit of relief we had taken one of those chances.

Despite them having a lot of the ball we could have really done them again first half yesterday if our decision making in the final third had been a bit better.

    Morning men..

    All still buzzing.

Delighted for the squad - they all played a part and will do so until the end of the season.

    Small negatives to start:
    sloppy free kicks
jota finding it hard to get into the game
    hatate looking leggy

    Positives:
    good squad to call upon
    defended strong and well
winning away from home to break the spell since sept 2019
working back to win the ball, getting stuck in
    timing and use of subs
taylor made 2 great tackles (one on aribo and one on kent)

One game at a time, on towards St J at home, bring kyogo back into the team and a nice 3 points next weekend will turn the screw that little bit more.

Unlucky abada didnt make it 3-1 great work by ralston

    Summer:
    sign ccv
    sign jota

Great to see videos all over the world, support, unity and well-behaved

Hail Hail - game by game keep the wins coming

With their jan loan signings, they have taken a big gamble - coupled with an mc gregor, davis etc they are verging on retirement age.

to get one trophy with a summer mega change in their team - goldson, kent, barisic, arfield etc their team will ripped up in the summer with less cash to make mega changes.

I think braga will beat them on thursday evening also, a tough second leg before the cup semi-final.

    Amazing day yesterday

The one bit of frustration for me was that the introduction of Abada seemed to open up our attacking play a little more and only for poor shots and annoying saves from mcgregor saved it from being a 4 or 5-1 drubbing.
