The bit about Hatate could be key. If they * it they could try and take him out of the game leaving O'Riley and McGregor to dictate the pace of the game.

I don't see how Tavenier or Barisic/Bassey then try and control the wing without support against the likes of Jota, Maeda or Abada.

I genuinely feel like with the possession we tend to have domestically it will stifle their game no end and especially if we get the first goal, within say first 25 minutes...their fan base will be livid and they'll just start humping balls long without thinking.

We went through a little rough patch of form after the we beat them 3-0 but the last few weeks everyone seemed to be hitting form again.

Their defence will be all over the place wondering how to deal with the runs inside by guys like Abada, Trickery of Jota, physicality and movement of Giakoumakis, marking Hatate out the game so he can't get shots off.

How to get Kent in the game as he'll be marked out of it by Juranovic.

If we start by pressing them as a team when McGregor is on ball, assuming he starts in goal...we will turn them over as he flaps in the wind like a retired hooker who's been blasted just one to many times over the years.

Don't know much about their set up but wouldn't be at all surprised to see Kent at RW to target what they will see as our weak link i.e Taylor. Remember Kent got absolutely dominated by Juranovic at Paradise and the wee Man Utd guy was a lost soul. Just can't see them putting the step over king up against JJ again...

 

Do what we are good at and we win, it's as simple as that really. 1-3 Us.

Would be hilarious if they did thay as ange will most likely play Juranovic there as well.. both the attacker and defender out of position whilst some random * is out on the left having to face upto Ralston...I'm assuming they'd pit Sakala there possibly.

They'd be weaken by that move whereas we've already played that way for large part of the season so we'd be more adjusted to it.

For us I think the key is pressuring McGregor if he's in goal and pressing Kamara as well those two are horrible with possession if player get in their face.

 

It has to be just dumb arrogance on my part but I do feel more confident about this game then I ever did even under Rodgers.
