    CELTIC outcast Boli Bolingoli has been left in football limbo after his loan deal to Russian club FC Ufa collapsed because he failed to get a work visa due to the war in Ukraine.

    The Hoops flop agreed to move on loan to Ufa last month after a nightmare spell in Glasgow where he was best remembered for breaking strict Covid rules to travel to Spain, which effectively ended his Celtic career




    FC Ufa stated last month: "FC Ufa and Celtic have agreed on a deal to loan left winger Boli Bolingoli.

    "The loan agreement is calculated until the end of the season."

    Bolingoli travelled to join up with Ufa at their Turkish winter training camp, with the Russian season due to resume next week after their long break.

    He was pictured wearing a Ufa strip at their base and has been there for a month.

    But they have been unable to sign Bolingoli because they could not secure a work visa for the 26-year-old Belgian player due to diplomatic relations between the UK and Russia being severely restricted because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.




    And it leaves Bolingoli in the unfortunate position of having to return to Celtic, where he has no hope of playing for the rest of the season.

    And the Hoops will have to try again and offload the former Rapid Vienna player, who still has well over a year of his contract left at Parkhead.

    This is more like thinking it’s been flushed away for weeks… only to discover it got as far as the sewerage plant… where it was rejected …. and has now turned around and headed back to where it came from.

    I hope we are keeping the toilet seat lids closed at CP.

    In conclusion, the overseas boning is the least of his crimes.
