Against PSG he was basically a one man team, harrassed the keeper to cause a goal, won a lot of headers which were there only chances and scored the other two goals, also dropped onto the left and right wings getting on the ball the only times they really got out their own half.

Other than that they spent about 160 minutes of the 180 minutes of the tie sitting in their own half being passed to death and opened up by a PSG side who looked like they were playing with slippers on.

Even though they are comfortably top in Spain they're pish and not really any better than Juventus, Man Utd, Arsenal, Inter or that.

Said months ago Barca had the makings of an excellent team, and they keep improving. Some of the young lads they have have been phenomenal. Done a great job so far has Xavi. Criminal the state that they were allowed to get in financially, but the squad they have has real potential.

 

It's a testament as well to how your fortunes can turn via good management & leadership. Laporta comes in, cleans house and incrementally adds pieces without breaking the bank while supporting one of our own in a coach who eschews the playing style & passion of our club

Much still to repair financially but it's a young team with a very bright future in the board room and coaching staff
