I thought he ran about a lot and gave it away a lot.

His honeymoon period is over. Hoping he picks up again soon.

Started off brilliantly and has since gone to complete *. Last night he would do something half decent but then make an * out of something after. I’m worried he just isn’t as good as we thought he was but I’m willing to be proven wrong.

How anyone who has seen what he’s capable of and be genuinely worried he’s not good enough beggars belief.

The guy was an attacking and defensive machine against the Huns after a superb debut and a wonder strike at Swinecastle.

I think Kyogo’s form from minute 1 has given some people unrealistic expectations of what happens when you bring in foreign players to Scottish football and Scotland in general who don’t speak a word of English. Consistency taking time and there being a settling in period are all completely natural things.

I do honestly think the relative immediate success of Kyogo, Jota, Abada, CCV, Juranovic (although that took a little longer) and Hart all of which is an entire core of a team has warped people's expectations.

It is not normal to have this many new faces thrown into the 11 so quickly and gel like they have..

And now because guys like Maeda, Giakoumakis (not so much now) and Hatate aren't equally keeping up that same trend there has/had been questions over their ability to play for celtic.

This has probably been the most successful we've ever been in terms of getting players in and having so many be instant hits...that isn't normal not least for us but any team in world football.

Try and make it less obvious for * sake.

The secret is to post something positive once in a while and you’ll get away with it for longer.

Every one of your posts is reeking of sheer Hun.

You can see he's a player. His turn and onwards run away from players is first class. His passing can be great and the next time off. Thats the type of thing that comes as he gets more comfortable. I'm not worried at all. He's showing enough for me that he's going to be qaulity.

Thought he was good in the first half the other night, some excellent touches and started off a few attacks really well. Nonsense to suggest he's not good enough because he's not been at the absolute top of his game, every game since he's been here. If you've watched him, you can see he's a player.

I also thought the pitch was absolutely horrendous. How anyone can play well on that is a mystery, so probably not the best to judge his performance on that.

Japan boss also dodged the Kyogo question so we're thinking he's getting a late call too.

Not surprised. Lots of our players will be. Luckily CCV, Ralston, Hart and GG are not. Abada, Bitton, O'Riley, McGregor, Taylor, Starfelt and Welsh won't be going far, playing in friendlies or not playing at all while away.

I don't think he will get called now, it would be an odd call up.

I don't know mate, I think there's an in between. He's obviously capable of moments of brilliance (and his performance against the Huns was outstanding) but for me there have been issues since the start and I don't think it's wrong to recognise them. I get wanting to defend him and give him time, I'm not saying he's pish or anything stupid like that, but there are issues in his game which as of yet I haven't seen him iron out. Very sloppy in possession at times and has a real habit of drifting out of games. Plenty of time yet, but I think as fans we can be too extreme either way, whether that's defending a player or criticising one. We can acknowledge issues without it meaning we're writing a player off.

If Andres Iniesta says your the best player in Japan then I’m no sure I agree with the in between comment.

He does drift out of games and he can be sloppy but which portion of those type of things to you put on the fact he’s had no settling in period, is a young guy from the other side of the world and has just came off the back of a full season with no break?

I hope the sloppiness is down to adjustment, I believe the drifting out of games is down to fitness after his full season in Japan. But again, he's played 13 games for us (transfermarkt, might not be accurate) so I don't think it's unreasonable as fans to pick up on issues which don't seem to be improving. I'm absolutely not writing the guy off, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about certain aspects of his game and I don't think it's fans overreacting when they bring it up.

    Thats the game.

Probably why you’ve not been found out yet, Barry.
