    Nah mate, we need the team who wins the cl to have already qualified through their league position. Barring something mental though that will happen, like say Benfica winning the cl.

    So the likes of Man city, both Madrid sides, Munich, Juve, Liverpool any of them winning it we’re guaranteed auto qualification.

    Hope this cleared it up a wee bit anyway mate. Would need a pure darkhorse to win the cl basically only Benfica/Villarreal left in it that could stop us getting automatic qualification.

    To totally contradict my previous post, Benfica are still an amazing club, but maybe they just fall short this year.

    Hahaha it is pretty much assured mate as you’ll know. It would be a total miracle for benfica/Villarreal to win it and i think that’s the only 2 left in it now who can stop it from happening. :50:

    That’s an incredible stat mate, don’t think there’s any doubt about it, historically benfica are one of the biggest clubs in the world, I’d go as far as saying even top 15.

    Scholes post match seemed to just think a good coach would turn Manchester United into the best team. The squad isn't good enough, it has some good players but some * and the whole club is * top to bottom.
