Im not saying start him, but he could have played against Livingston or DU.

Surely he deserves more game time than he’s getting, considering how good he was for us pre injury?

Players need game time to prove themselves

Is that not a similar argument you have for Dane Murray getting gametime just now as well?

    No.

Jullien doesn’t need first team minutes to develop.

Ah, I thought you’d said you’d felt he’s shown more than Welsh - who also needs first team minutes to develop and then would deserve to be ahead of him in the pecking order.

My point was if he was showing more than him, he should be.

Yeah it's weird people are still going on about Jullien. Would be utter madness to even consider breaking up the Starfelt and CCV partnership. They compliment each other well and are both having very good seasons.

I thought that was your argument to have Murray infront of Welsh, that he needs the minutes on the pitch and he showed you in the past that he deserved the time on the pitch?

I liked Jullien prior to his injury. Was one of our better centre backs in recent years, but he's nowhere near worth the fee we paid for him, even prior to the injury.

I wanted him back ASAP before the new year but he looked a million miles off it against Raith. Like dangerously and worryingly slow. To be fair Starfelt has improved too and formed a good partnership with CCV so you'd be mad to change that. Still want an upgrade on him in the Summer though.

Ange will have seen enough of Jullien to assess and right now he's not even in the squad most weeks, let alone the first eleven.

My argument was because Murray is a better prospect and Welsh isn’t ever going to be good enough.

But is clearly showing more for everyday in training for Ange to be selecting him ahead of him though.

The reality is Jullien's injury proved more serious then first thought and his return was delayed so long into this season that there are just not any more of the Raith type games to get him up to speed in. The only way we will see Jullien on the field between now and the end of the season is if there is a huge center back injury crisis, we are up by 3 goals or more after an hour in a game or the league has already been won. Jullien's future will be decided in the summer over a full and proper pre-season.

Jullien was a very good cb for us pre injury but if anyone watched him against raith you would know how slow he was and from that alone he is nowhere near the standard of Starfelt right now. Ange sees him in training each day so if he doesn't get game time he will have a good reason for it

Pretty obvious he won't be here next season.

Another game today were you're hoping to be a few goals ahead and give him last half hour or so and again not even named on the bench.

Must be too tall to be an Ange centre back

    Just can't get enough
He's done nothing for me to suggest he is worth keeping average at best, add to the fact he gets rag dolled by smaller players means his size is of no importance either

Getting very concerning now, big man just needs an opportunity to prove his worth again
