Aye we had 3 men out wide right and he went left with the most timid, pishiest pass you'll see...killing the move stone dead...then scored straight after..

Mental how bad his link up play was tonight..

Siegrist was due one like that against us as well. Played out his skin every other time..

He’s definitely not the slickest player you’ll see but he works hard and gets the job done.

9 goals from 8 starts is a great return. His confidence and form will continue to improve with more game time IMO.

Not the cleanest of strikers but looks like he has the luck /instinct to be in the right place .

Showing last season in Holland was no fluke.

    Really stepped up.

I thought that was his worst game for us tonight - some absolutely awful stuff... and yet he scored two and could have had more :giggle1:

Every goal he's scored for us has been one touch.

As long as he isn’t trying to pass the ball or dribble he’s pretty good. Penalty box finisher which is very handy to have. Can swing balls in now and there’s always a chance he will be on the end of something. Messy but gets the goals which is the main thing.

I thought he was toiling up until he scored his first.

Constant threat in the box though, loves to pick up the scraps.

Will probably get 15-20 most seasons and that's ideal in a 2nd/3rd choice.

I was concerned about his record before coming here, he wasn't that prolific until last season and thought he may have been a covid cup type player but happy to be seeing him proving that wrong

Love him, doesnt scorer the nicest of goals but he gets in positions others won't and finds those loose balls! Exactly the type of forward we need with the creativeness of our wingers

His link up play needs improved upon no doubt but he's exactly the type of striker you want available at the busy end of the season.

Knack for being in the right place at the right time and scraps for everything.

How often in this season and last have we seen chances go begging because Eddie or Maeda weren't in the 6 yard box?

Whip in crosses and he will go for it, even if he gets hurt in the process. Can't help but like the guy.

As much as I rate Edouard, he always wanted to come deep for the ball and often I found myself wishing he'd get into those poaching positions. Convinced he works best on the left of a 3 as an inside forward, his heat map from his time with us seems to indicate that too.

Classic penalty box strikers goals yesterday. Great to see. We have not had that for a while.

Just seen his second goal there. Well taken imo. Put himself on the line where some might have bloused it. He's defo a good option to have in some more physical and scrappy games

Most of the criticism about his link up play overlooks the horrific pitch the boys had to play on.

Of course it wasn't going to be the best football, but it was still a dominant performance with a 3-0 scoreline.
