A little shake up is an understatement - they need an old fashioned boot up the * to shake them out of this lethargy or they are going to * it up

I was just thinking about this and wouldn’t mind us trying something a bit different.

We are going to come up against deep defences the next two games, probably the next 3 in the league.

Either going 3 at the back and playing Ralston as the right sided centre back, so it the opposition are so deep he can still push on or more of a 4-3-1-2.

The issue with both of these options for me is the one we have known for a while who do you play as a left wing back or attacking left back in the later?

    —————-——Hart

    Juranovic—CCV——Starfelt—-Taylor?

    ———ORiley—-Ideguchi—-McGregor

    ——————-Jota/Hatate

    ————Abada———-Giakoumakis

I don’t think you can play Juranovic left back in that formation as you need the full backs to provide the width working with ORiley and McGregor on either side but would have more forwards in and around the box this way. With that personnel you could also switch to the 4-3-3 very easily.

Other than the Hun game, last time we won at home in the league by more than 2 goals was September 11th.

Surely due to pump someone massively at Celtic Park.

    Hart
    Ralston CCV Starfelt Juranovic
    McGregor Hatate
    Forrest O’Riley Jota

Wanna see us pump them to get some confidence back in the side.

If this is another scrappy narrow win then there are major major issues

Like to see Doak and Brooks on the bench for this...with Doak getting minute's..

St Mirren played most of the game the other day with 10 men and one of their main goal threats getting sent off. No doubt they'll be feeling that..

I do think we'll win this with a bit of breathing space for the first time in a while..

Surely to * the let off from the weekend must gee us up for Wednesday night, there’s no reason at all that we shouldn’t be making light work of this game.

I know it's unlikely but I do wonder if Ange will mix it up at all in this or future games. Seen us go two up top a few times in European games this season and that game at St Johnstone and it seemed to work well, caught them off guard at least. Would be good to have that in our locker.

On paper we should win but judging by our last few games things could go anyway.

If it goes wrong there can be no excuses,we have been bad lately and its up to Ange to get them back playing to the level we expect,if he fails again then question need to be asked whos the problem?manager of players.

Why not try Abada again up front, looked like he could play there last time.

Not disagreeing but Ange just aint gonna do it.

Rogic and Maeda need a rest.

Get GG up front and O'Riley in Rogic's place. And Scales for Taylor - shows a lot more going forward and exactly how much defending will we be doing against St Mirren?

Would like to see the likes of Doak, Moffat, Brookes, Dawson get a look in for late minutes.

And pleeeeaaaaaasssse give us back Kyogo.

    all are good
Players need to play to their strengths.

Maeda needs space to use his speed, does not do well when boxed in centrally.

Would like to see Julien play in this game. Jota needs to change his boots and shoot low when he goes for goal. Last game his efforts were poor to say the least.

Bring on Doak for this one , last 20 minutes. The lad will be like a fox in the hen house, creating panic. Guaranteed to help get us a goal or a penalty.

Give Kenny a run also, fresh legs, young adrenalin, no fear.

If they park the bus will need to draw them out to get behind them or go route 1. We need to vary our tactics and not be predictable.

Hard to draw out teams who are happy with wot they have , that's why sometimes you have to set traps like ,being uncomfortable passing it between defence and keeper wer the opposition smell a chance and push forward putting pressure on defense, most of the times recently our players are taking the safe pass which is not helping with chance creation .

    Looking forward to this.

For me there is not one game this season I haven't looked forward to and that is solely down to Ange. We have seen the potential. We have also seen some poor performances. I will choose to focus on how we have played at our highest level, and back Ange to get us there on a more consistent basis. He deserves that imo.

2 nil to the good guys and maybe a wee turn from St Johnstone

Every game is massive at the moment. Said it many a time in recent weeks but while I'd love to give them a drubbing, any win will do. That said, would also be encouraging to see improved football from the last few weeks, and some real urgency in our play. Few times recently I've seen folk talking about how they we're going to blow them away and we've struggled. Hope this isn't one of those nights as it's been difficult to deal with!

Not a great sign that I'm concerned about home to St. Mirren and I'm sure I'm not the only one but if there's a game to kick start a good run of form and performances it should be this one
