If his contract expires this summer then he should be kicking the door down to get game time and shine.

As soon as our players get a hard kick up their * and start performing, this lad will get his game time.

O'Riley, Rogic and Hatate have all had indifferent form in recent games, I think it would be smarter to play Abada as the furthest attacking 8 in MF behind the striker, Abada seems to do a lot more damage through the middle rather than out wide, this would then allow Karamoko to play out wide. According to Juco James on the Huddle Breakdown podcast, Abada is in the bottom 10% of SPFL wingers when it comes to dribble success when trying to beat his opponents in 1v1 situations, I'd be confident Karamoko would have a much higher success rate in that department out wide

Ffs. Abada is never a centre or attacking mid. Its a completely different role from a central striker. That's an awful shout

On the one hand, it is all about opinions.

On the other, your lack of football knowledge is quite honestly astounding.

With Forrest toiling badly and Jota and Abada looking jaded it would be a godsend if he could even get 45 or half an hour against St Midden and produce something. We need another option just now and there’s no reason it can’t be him.

Given his position and I know he is just back off an injury but I think he could have that bit of a point to prove attitude we could do with in our attacking options. He will also be fresh, he doesn’t mind dribbling at players and can also hit a free kick in dangerous areas.

He would definitely be worth a go. That fearless youth attitude could be the breath of fresh air that lifts a few around him too.

Abada behind the striker would be much more effective than having him out wide where he can't beat a man

How many goals has he scored playing out wide FFS? Dribbling past opponents isn't the only way to play on the wing. He does his best work when the full backs get up the park and he runs from wide into the box.

I have to disagree. He does struggle to beat a man, you're right. But what about him makes you think he'd excel in midfield? His receipt of the ball, ball control and his passing are hardly strong points

We don't play with a player behind the striker. It's not the first time you've came out with drivel like this. You actually watched any of our games this season? The CM's end up occupying fairly wide positions on a regular basis.

Aye let's move the guy whose biggest strength is getting into good goal scoring positions, and has scored well into double figures, and move him into midfield. Genius.

Also, let's replace him with a kid who has barely kicked a ball in months and has shown absolutely nothing to suggest he's a better option.

As countless other people have told you on this forum, your footballing IQ is non-existent.

Interesting dribble stat for Abada. I don't think he has any trickery at all, and neither do I consider him overly quick. Combined with no size, I find him ineffective (and I won't even comment on his defending). I thought someone mentioned Palace had an eye on him; sell! I do find him effective when he is moving forward/counterattacking.

I thought Dembele looked the goods preseason; I hope he at least gets back to that level.

Aye let's punt our 20 year old winger who has directly contributed to 25 goals this season. More than any other player in the squad.

Calling him ineffective is laughable. He's quite literally been our most effective player this season, bar Kyogo who has missed what feels like half the season.
