The result is obviously disappointing but it’s the performance that’s alarming. They rocked up to Parkhead and beat us comfortably while in second gear.

Pretty pathetic from start to finish. Just hope the hangover doesn’t have an impact on our league campaign. Need to move on from this quickly.

Terrible performance from us, said it before they were a good team but actually don’t think they played all that well. Reasonably organised but you could play through them and they weren’t that secure in their control we were just miles of it.

It was school boy stuff from us at times, Abada and Rogic constantly showing their left back who couldn’t kick the ball with his left foot inside, Greg Taylor showing Solbakken who couldn’t kick the ball with his right in on to his left and two centre backs who can’t pass more than 5 yards to each other.

Juranovic was the only player I would give anything close to pass marks the rest were a disgrace for most of the game. Maeda took his goal well.

Jota what was that performance all about? Rogic so poor and off the pace, total lack of ideas and quality in that performance.

Ye think you hit nail on head. Thought when I heard commentary saying norwich considered him. But then same at player level lot of their players looked very good tonight, yet when we sign them they are a boli/barkas

Thats right and we got him allmost for free. Last season we got Botheim for free and he also didnt score goals the season before that. The scouting is top notch and the trainer knows how to develop them.

So we’re not top quality either then are we, judging by your logic? So why the furore that we’ve lost?

Different levels of * getting spoken here.

Well and truly put in our place we are leagues behind teams like this in Europe and have shown * all ambition in the last ten years to suggest we're even trying to bridge the gap, result tonight wisnae a surprise in the slightest, anyone can turn up and pump as at home these days.

Easily exposed. No answers to an average team. I didn't go all in on the Ange love in for this reason and I won't go all in on the criticism. Truth is Ange was exploited and embarassed tonight. The hero worship, treble talk and walking Saint status needs reigned in big time.

Bitton is better at protecting the defence in Europe than CalMac, I've said it multiple times on here

I think the Scandinavian teams have come a long way when it comes to working on the physical and mental coaching part of the game.

I've been banging the drum for ages now about just how small our team is. The Norwegian players were all big athletic feckers compared to our players and strode bye our players with relevant ease. I'm not saying this was the main reason we we lost tonight as they were streets ahead of us in every department but we do desperately need to sign a few big players. I wouldn't mind if big Ange decides to target a few of their players before they get snapped up by other European teams as they are just the type we need.

Tbh its the same problem every year getting, and the worrying thing is not just a new manager but team too and lets not use the new player excuse either as Glimt had half a team too new.

I thought we were incredibly poor basically all over the park. Attack ran out of ideas pretty much immediately. Maeda wasn't getting on the end of those crosses but Jota and Abada kept smashing them in anyway.

Defence was a shambles as always, barely needs mentioning how bad Taylor was.

Midfield were also to blame though, McGregor had a bad game and Hatate looked lost tracking back, just chasing the ball and leaving the centre open. The way we play invites the counter but as soon as it occurs it's panic stations.

Same old story though really , seen a stat that Moravcik67 put on Twitter and it was quite an eye opener.

“13 european games in the group stage & knockout round this season and last, and we've conceded 37 goals.

I appreciate that we've crossed paths with some very good teams in those games, but you can't concede ~3 per game in Europe and expect to go anywhere.”
