Those short corners were really annoying. I don't know how many we had but it was wasteful

All over the park they were quicker, stronger and smarter. Totally outplayed from, just about, the off. Game was lost in midfield. We need a solid defensive midfielder for these games. McGregor is not what we need in front of our defence. O'Reilly and Rogic is ok at home against Dundee but against a team that can pass a ball about, it just doesn't cut it.

5-1, 5 shots on target.. and we'll probably have 65% possession.

    I don't mean results wise.

I'm delighted to be top. And to win leagues you've got to grind out results when you're not at your best.

However the performances against Alloa, Raith, the Sheep and even Dundee Utd at Parkhead were far from impressive.

Fair enough mate, I disagree. I think they were excellent and despite still being in pre-season were in second gear most of the game, felt like they could push on and score at any time. If you ask me they look like how I imagine Ange wants us to look in the next couple of years.

It's frustrating as * mate. Some examples

Zenit, big team but hadn't kicked a ball in months and we're rusty as *. Beaten

Copenhagen. Battered them away for long periods and then embarrassed at home by them. Beaten.

Tonight is the worst for me. Yes they've had some big results in Europe recently but ultimately we should not be losing to these especially when they've been depleted and again haven't played competitively in months.

I don't think a lot of us thought this game would be easy , I felt it could go either way before the game , they played a great game , scared us out our press with their composure and touch and movement .
We lost belief and started yo question whether to go or stay ,I felt we shoulda drew them in more and balls over the top ,its not our way but they are a big physical team and our balls in from wide lacked quality to hurt , until they tired badly .

Its not just about not doing it in Europe, it's more of the performance, the tactics and how rigid a system we play allowing teams to suss us out.

    Already over the result.

Its * mentioning the Huns and using them as a stick to beat us with. Comparing. It’s such strange behaviour.

Its not the loss so much as the giant * holes they found or created in our defence 3 times and could have been more. Meanwhile another team comes here and shows us how to defend, year after year teams do it but our defence is still rather * outside of Scotland.

Tbf mate Maeda getting a lot of flack guys scored 4 goals in 5 starts, no the same type of finesse as kyogo but Jesus Christ man, came to a new country and scored 4 goals in 5 games, and he will improve

Sometimes a team needs a loss to wake them up. Glad it was here and not in the league.

You don’t go unbeaten in a Europa league group and pump Roma 6-1 if your a bunch of nobody’s

Nah I get where you’re coming from but he simply doesn’t offer the same runs/options as kyogo. Kyogo is on another level his movement off the ball is scary. I feel maeda is better against a high defence being able to run in behind but we’re not a team who wants to play long balls. The one time we played a long ball over the top to maeda he was through and nearly scored. Don’t think maeda fits into anges system… unless the big man changes things uo
