I could handle the defeat, but the manner of it was hard to swallow.

Mate, they were very very good. Let's not be arrogant just because they are a small club. If we become that organised a team we'll be doing very well.

 

That was deflating.

Embarrassing performance and result. We’ve been great all season, hopefully tonight was just a bad day at the office.

The whole performance was out of character. No energy, no creativity, very poor out of possession.

Ange got his selection wrong but the players didn’t hit anywhere near the levels they have showed this season.

Running problem all season, 1000 crosses into the box amount to nothing. They effectively had 3 chances, 3 goals.

 

Only O'Riley avoids a slating tonight. The first quality team this team of ours come up against we get found wanting. Poor performance from us but hats off to their manager, did his homework and his tactics were spot on. Ange team selection was wrong, failed to change things at half time, changed personnel but not the tactics. A big wake up call for the whole team, management and even us, the suppprters. Suddenly the weekend game becomes massive, will this defeat, at home affect momentum and confidence ? Can we pick ourselves up and take this on the chin? Results.and performances like this can deflate.the whole club just when you feel.we are.making good progress.

We needed to be on it and too many were off it, coupled with Ange getting his starting lineup wrong..

Canny be a one dimensional team in Europe. Teams can easily figure out a game plan and play ye like a fiddle im afraid. We need to be able to mix it up. Simple as that… maeda… the one time we play a long ball over the top he nearly scores. He’s a striker that likes space to run into… no use if ye want to play 20 short passes before it gets to him.

look at our 2003 cup final team. Down the wings or long balls we could mix it up. We simply cannot afford to be one dimensional in Europe

 

All these boomers in here thinking we are still European powerhouse that should be sweeping norweigian back to back champions aside like they are pieces of *..

By the way, the tie is not over. Early goal over there and you never know. Dust ourselves down and move on - don't make the same mistakes next time.

 

Bodø/Glimt will just keep doing this to bigger sides in Europe till Knudsen is gone. Then he’ll go somewhere bigger and, despite tactical genius, struggle with man management as almost every Norwegian does outside of Scandinavia.

We make teams look good, ffs, as I said huns against Mityjland, us against them. Huns against sparta, us against them.

Our defending especially is laughable, every game in Europe, regardless of opposition. Those hun * know how to do it though.

This is why its imperative we win the league as we have zero chance of CL by qualification.

 

The huns winning tonight makes it harder to take. Hopefully the rocket we need not to get complacent. Was worried we’d get to a semi and drop points because of fatigue in the league. All that matters this season is the league.
