Where do people think we are?

Of all the day's to bring up how * our league is, the huns, who we just recently blitzed, have went and battered Dortmund in their own backyard..

This game is only half time. Lol..

O’riley has been our most creative outlet tonight, imo.

 

I said pre match that the game would be tight.

Too many folk predicting wins by 3 and 4 goals which was utterly ridiculous.

It’s the same * the English do and we give them pelters for it. Sheer ignorance and arrogance.

That attitude translates in to the crowd and therefore when we get off to a bad start the atmosphere completely turns.

 

We all know we can play far far better than that and i expect a reaction 2nd half .

It's like some people can't admit that we might have underestimated Bodo. Aye we should still be winning this, but they pumped Roma 6-1 ffs.

 

Us and bode would of pumped Dortmund tonight tbf..

 

Yet those ucnts across the city play in the same league and get some good results. We can't always blame our league.

 

Clever defensive positioning by B/G. The 2 CB are pushing onto O'Riley & Rogic, giving those 2 no time, which also means that Maeda's runs are not from the best positions/not being found and Jota being kept quiet also. Taylor also has been a bit underpar.

GG would've been a better choice to start this game than Maeda, as they could not have pushed both of their CB onto O'Riley & Rogic - even if it was just one of them it would've given a little more room to move, plus GG holds the ball up better and can then brng the MF's into the action.

Ange will need to change a few things, either personnel or positional.

 

You definitely have to give them credit. They're a good outfit..

I still think we can nick this anyway. Need a big improvement though..

 

I was shocked when I saw it. Maybe one of the few people who has seen Bodø/Glimt more than Celtic over the last years, and the one thing that gives them trouble is a side that can match their energy. They steamrolled a Roma side that thought they’d just be able to pass around these silly Norwegians from this silly city.

 

I never said they were diddies, I said they were modest European level, which they are. Sevco would not lose to them, home or away, as much as I hate to admit it. But then they realise you can't play in Europe as you do in Scotland. They are compact and patient with strong nerves. We are not. If Bodo can mug us off like this imagine what Man City or Liverpool would do.

 

We haven’t shown up in that first half. Too slow going forward and too open out of possession.

They are a good side but it’ll be an embarrassment if we don’t win tonight IMO.

Maeda and Rogic off for Giakoumakis and Hatate.

 

Felt we got it badly wrong defensively in the midfield at their goal but apart from that we played okay.

Need to do more in the final third but this team can be got at.

 

3/4 of the tie left..

But unless we take a lead over there, it's going to be an uncomfortable evening I feel.

 

That team put 6 past an Italian side last season, fans need to stop branding teams poor because they are not man city or barca.

 

Absolute pish this, a poorer version of us were toe to toe with Leverkusen (even the 4-0 against us was a very good performance from there keeper to keep it being an unreal performance for us) we were toe to toe with Betis as well when we were worse as we are just now, Huns just skelped the 2nd best team in the Bundesliga…. The quality in the SPFL is good just now. This team has a very good manager, they skelped Roma 6-1, they’re unbeaten and they’ve had a long prep time to plan exactly how to play against us and it’s working very well so far.

Just because they’re not a name doesn’t mean they don’t have quality, they absolutely clearly do.

Can mind we said the same thing about Boavista back in the Seville season and they gave us a better game than the more hyped teams.

They are very, very good in their own stadium and drew every game away. We have 45 minutes to show what we’re made of to bring a result over there.

This is a big moment for Ange, they’ve spent a month or two preparing to play us, working on how to beat us, can he change it up to get the result?

 

Their style for years is to soak up pressure, stay defensively organised and cut out attacks and either counter or hit a target man with long or diagonals.

We are WIDE OPEN in Europe in so many games it is unbelievable. I am not solely blaming the league. I could have picked my wording a bit better.
