[Matchday] Celtic v Bodo/Glimt February 17th BT Sport 2 kick off 8PM

First of all, those that were predicting we would beat this team 3 or 4 or 5-0 at a canter need to take a reality check and stop predicting pish !! This is the Norwegian Champions, may have lost a few players but they are no mugs !!
Taylor has been poor, Jota not in it and having his quietest game for us, Rogic is off the pace and his first touch has been poor at times. Maeda for some reason is not making any near side post runs so it is making life easy for their CBs. They are quite happy to play it about at the back, draw our players in leaving a hole in the midfield to go straight through. For us to win this game we have to do something we haven't done foe a while, having a decent second half. I think Ange got his midfield wrong tonight.

 

We’ve not been great, or even good (outwith the odd bit of play), but we can still turn this around.

As about a hundred other people have already said, Hatate for Rogic is a must going in to the second half. There’s a few players not at the races tonight, but that’s an obvious change we can, and should, be making. Wouldn’t be against bringing Giakoumakis on either.

 

I don’t agree with the McGregor criticism. He’s been tasked with an impossible job. Hatate for Rogic is a must, then see how that affects the game. If things are still poor after that then make some more changes at 60 minutes.

 

This team were undefeated in their Europa League group.

By far Starfelt’s best attribute as well that, show’s how good they’ve been to move us out of our shape

A bad half against a team who is far better than most of our support would have known, and folk are philosophically looking at where we think we are as a team, mentalists man.

 

They are one of the closest Norwegian sides to where I live, I watch them often, their European matches are broadcast nationally. Yes, their movement is fantastic.

AP made an * of it starting Rogic and O'Reilly. I've never seen this team play but if you had watched them you would know that pairing just wouldn't work, surely ?

Get Hatate on and we'll see a different 2nd half.
