Battling all day with Broony is a massive step up in physicality compared to the J-League. While he’s physical enough and strong enough, the constant physical battles he faces here, twice a week is wearing the lad out.

It’s an adjustment period for him where his body will get used to sustained battles and subsequently improve his endurance.

Glad he got left on for longer today, only way to get the endurance is by playing longer.

 

Probably up 2-0 and thought to himself this is easy and had a we wakeup call. Infact glad the entire team did, we've had it too easy recently. This will perk them up again but after the run of games were facing its to be expected.

 

No worries about him from me, he blended in well with every player in the 2nd half ie not great. Bodo will be a differenr story altogether. Defo needs a rest over the wknd.

 

I will give him a bit of slack, just cause he had a full season already, a few weeks off still doesn’t give him a proper rest due to playing another 5/6 months on top.

100% agree with you on the system, it seems we tier but Ange has to make the changes at the right times and we have others who should have came on earlier last night.

Fingers crossed he gets used to the amount of games we play but we are flush in the middle of the park, just hope Ange manages it.

 

Someone needs to tell him to stop being so staunch in the huddle.

 

Wasn't Ange coming out while he was on the top of his game saying he's not at full fitness yet? Then he's had 3 mental games on the trot and we're * the bed because he's had a bit of fatigue. Pathetic.

 

Better in the 2nd half. Only Jota on his wavelength down the left hand side. Great pass to him aswell. Needed that 90 minutes too.

Surprised that he wasn't one of the guys being rested to be honest. Really seems to need it.

 

Something we have missed for a long time those high risk high reward vision and passes.

 

We’ve been playing and attempting passes like that all season. The reality is when we have teams camping in on us, the lack of space doesn’t really give many opportunities for these to be played.

Not down playing the pass because it was exceptional, but to say we’ve missed them isn’t true.

 

I think its quite the opposite. He needs games to get his fitness up
