Feel bad for him but he's never making it here. Might get lucky and find his feet amd stay free from injury elsewhere, as some players seem to do.

Boy can’t play a game without getting injured, becoming a bit of a joke at this point tbh.

Groundhog Day, nothing really more can be said about him that hasn’t been said for the last couple of years.

    Another injury under no challenge..

What I will say though is the pitch was a disgrace today..

Have to feel for him, every time it looks like he's getting a chance his body breaks down.

I think, without injuries, he'd 100% be first choice for us by now, but at this moment I don't see him getting into our team, even if this injury isn't serious.

Think he needs a fresh start somewhere else. New team, new environment, less pressure, more game time.

Today was a prime example of how injuries have stalled this guy's career. His decision making is akin to that of a 18 year old in his first season. Clearly talented and clearly has unfulfilled potential but nothing comes off for him. If he scores that mazy run in the first few minutes it could have been a totally different game. To top it all off, he ends up coming off injured (the one time where his end product was faultless).

Have to feel for him but we need to cut our losses in the summer. Its the best for everyone.

Every since we relaid it under Ronny, then done it again under Brendan it’s been nowhere near as good as it was previously.

    Cost us millions as well

Wonder if bulking up would make a difference to him? He is quite light looking. Getting stronger all round might afford him some protection.

sure he tried, which is a lot more than Forrest did but everything he did was hopeless, the ball went out for raith goal kick or throw ina nd every cross hit the first man.
also walking off the pitch and abandoning the team to 10 men is a * disgrace, go down on the pitch like any other player would, the raith cpatain did this in the 2nd half and get the game stopped ffs, dont just ditch the team.

Feeling bad for his injury does not negate how woeful he was against RAITH ROVERS!

    very poor.

No chance. Unless people would be happy to watch him hit the first defender, run the ball out of play or try and skin 5 players before hitting the corner flag. He's not got the final product to hold down that position.

I think he would have had that final product had he remained injury free and continued to improve. Don't know who said it but it looks like he plays like somebody who's still 18, and with the amount of gametime he's missed through injuries that might as well be the case.

We'll never know, his future lies elsewhere either way.

I don't want to be harsh on MJ , but even taking injuries into consideration he has had plenty of chances but failed to take them. I think What keeps him back is his descision making, cuts back when he should be crossing, shoots when there is not a clear chance on, fails to cut it back when there are better options etc. There was one descision he made today thay was annoying, ok it was against Raith but when he got injured he walked off the pitch and play carried on leaving us effectively a man down. He should have just sat down on the pitch and play would have got stopped. I think he now needs to move on for the sake of his career.
