Undoubtedly a gifted, technical footballer but when the game gets physical, such as 2nd half tonight and after Hearts scored at swinecastle, he goes missing. He'll still do a lot of good for us but in games like this in future I'd be looking at Rogic, O'Riley and even Bitton starting before him.

 

No point in denying it, he was very poor tonight. Should have been hooked after 60 mins.

 

Understandable , he was due a below par performance after the fantastic efforts before .
Time out for him and Madea well deserved .

 

Definitely not a player for when your under pressure

 

Keep him wrapped up over the weekend for Bodo next week.

It's far too soon to be coming out with stuff like "Not good for Physical games" or "Poor under pressure". Guy literally dominated the huns and Hearts at Tynecastle, he's allowed a poor game.

 

Needs a rest. Was terrible for their goal when they cut it back, completely lost his man. Bit of a overreaction to say he can't handle pressure etc tho. Wednesday is possibly the most high pressure game he's played in his life and he shagged it.

 

It's * ridiculous, but expected.

I didn’t actually think he played too badly? Would say it was an average game, maybe we’ve just been too used too his recent performances which not even the best can keep up every game.

Came here a month ago from a completely different league and culture.
Scored a few screamers, a couple of MOTM performances, slayed the huns but aye, I can see why folk are concerned

 

Said in the match thread that he should have been subbed as he looked *.

Surprised Ange had him on for as long.

Got to remember he has played a full season in Japan already.

 

He'll need to get used to the short pre season then cause he had a few weeks off. Probably no less than what our boys get each summer before pre season. Hopefully gets upto fitness soon cause when the 2 number 8s get tired our system goes to * I feel

 

Can see he’s struggling with his fitness in 2nd halves of games he’s played. Not surprising since he’s not long finished a full season in Japan and now adjusting to our style, trying and the high paced games in Scotland.

Just needs more game time to reach his top fitness. He never hides and will still do the dirty side of the game.

 

For a while now, in every game he's looked unfit around 60mins.

Great passer, distributes the ball well, but his fitness lets him down in the last 30 mins.
