Yup me too. I have a new found arrogance with this team

 

Couldn't give a * if we play like that for the rest of the season as long as we come out with 3 points.

I'll be dead by the end of the year, mind.

 

Massive win, survived a huge scare but a wake up call that the titles nowhere near won. All credit to the players though we've came through a really tough run of games and maximum points is all you can ask for.

 

As poor as the second half was, we need to put this game into perspective. In a week we have beaten the Huns at home convincingly to go top of the league. Then played Murderwell away and played probably our best football over 90 minutes for quite some time, we then go to The Sheep and hang on for another 3 points. I difficult home tie then 2 difficult away ties. Huns have played 2 home games since we beat them, Hearts and Neilsen shat the bed, Hibs arent very good. We have a sort of break now from the league to take a breather, we have had 3 high intensity games on the trot, it can be mentally draining on the players as well as physical. I think if we had another difficult away game in the league this weekend the chances would be high for us dropping points. A chance to refocus with the cup game then europe.

 

Can’t play beautiful football every time we take to the pitch. We take it and move on. Great desire to get back in front after gifting them 2 goals.

 

Just when I thought we'd turned the corner defensively....Somebody needs to realise a game lasts 90+ minutes, you can't just play in patches. It should have been obvious that Aberdeen would come out 2nd half going for it. They had nothing to lose, why didn't we get that? The truth is we just want to play the game by our rules and when the opposition get stuck in we go missing. Ultimately we won, which is all that counts but to be holding on against an extremely poor Aberdeen side after being 2-0 up at half-time is worrying and the other clubs in the league will only take encouragement from it.

 

Glasgow Celtic rollercoaster season this is going to be I tell ya

 

Can’t be too critical as we’ve just came through possibly toughest run of fixtures of the season with maximum points, but wow that was hiding behind the couch stuff second half. Anyway still top of the league and it’s another game ticked off.

 

The midfield seemed to be the problem for me second half

 

It also shows the character of the team, letting a 2 goal lead slip in the space of 5 minutes could have really * us, but up we went and score a minute later.

 

It is tremendous mate and a wins a win. But that the night is a wee wake up call, we're no as good as we think and we need to keep fighting even when we look to be cruising.

 

What by 1 lol, we’ve now got 7 home games 5 away, they’ve got 5 home 7 away, we don’t go back to pittodrie or tyneccastle again and a home game and away game against the scum- got tbh wee japs have been brilliant but both pretty poor tonight
Went to tynecastle Motherwell pittodrie last 3 weeks and won all 3 pumped the Huns, beat hibs and last minute goal v dutd so 18 points from 18, anybody that thinks were just going to blitz teams every living in cloud cuckoo land

 

Rollercoasters have ups and downs, I haven't had a down for months with this lot!!

 

Routine first half, dug meat second half. 3 points is all that matters.

To take maximum points from Hibs, Hearts, Dundee Utd, Rangers, Motherwell and Aberdeen is nothing to be sniffed at.

We failed to get our foot on the ball and calm it down appropriately, as you said should have had a couple of changes on earlier. Rogic and Bitton can both get on the ball and and have provided fresh legs as Hatate and ORiley tired.

Maeda really doesn’t suit when we are playing like that as he fails to hold the ball in or bring team mates into the game. Giakoumakis can also help out defending set plays and should have been on sooner.

A few tired legs out there as well it’s been a hectic and intense fixture schedule playing most of the other top 7 teams in the league and Aberdeen away. Getting maximum points has been a good return.

Any word on why Juranovic wasn’t there? I felt we missed him tonight.

No point suddenly * the bed just cause Aberdeen caused us problems for 20 minutes. They threw everything at us, scored from a well worked free kick (that shouldn't have been given) and then a header. It happens. We got the win and move on, momentum is still with us.
