More effective through the middle. Great to see him getting a goal.

Think he’d be fine on the left tbh when needed, very similar to Abada coming inside from the right and producing goals and assists.

Thought he was a bit off it today but he’s got levels in him and his work rate is world class.

Already agreed that we’re signing him for 1.6m come the summer.

    Looks another masterstroke from Ange.

Felt for him a bit today, he had a number of runs ignored by teammates. One in particular where Abada could have played him in with a simple ball in the first half.

Thought he was really good and when the combinations click he’ll get plenty of chances. O’Riley seemed to have the vision to pick his runs and I think we have another great buy on our hands.

His fitness levels are ridiculous. Ran his heart out all day and didn't look tired. Great movement aswell.

His closing down play is superb, even if he isn't having his best game, he still gives it everything.

Work rate is incredible. Great Movement as well. He can absolutely operate on the left when needed.

Players should pass to him even if he's on the left wing.

Good for him to get another goal. Wasn’t near his best today.

Didn't have the best of games but his attitude and workrate more than makes up for it. Even on a bad day if he keeps making those runs and closing down something is bound to come off.

    Class.

    £1. 6m is a * take.

Think about the dross we have spent £2m+ on to play up front. Ajeti, Bangura, Pukki, Balde, Bayo.

The guy is extremely good value for money, just like all the other Japanese lads.

We should be heading back there in the summer window.

If we win the league, we should be heading to Japan on tour.

Thiink that, COVID permitting of course, would be a no brainer. There would be a tonne of interest there, attract some good crowds for preseason friendlies, ship a heap of merch, etc as well as potentially secure commercial/sponsorship deals etc, surely the powers-that-be on the Board have this already well underway in terms of planning and securing dates and friendlies etc
