Tell that to sky sports and BT. They ain't paying the spfl millions for Celtic v St mirren 4 times a season. There's no shame in accepting that the European and world attraction to the spfl is the celtic/rangers rivalry. Its that brand that drives up TV revenue and our own revenue. Also, I'll say it, I enjoy the spfl more when we are being challenged for titles. The Deila years were not as fun as Lennys first stint.

 

Great to see the fans arriving for the game tonight. Saw members of Wimbledon CSC club on the plane coming up this morning. Fans having lunch in restaurants in town. Was just chatting to a couple of lads coming over from Derry for the game. There just seems to be a good buzz about the place. Looking for a win and a few goals for Celtic tonight.

 

No way. They wanted it, they got it. Why any Celt would desire huns inside of Celtic park is beyond me. Unless you like hearing several thousand hate-filled lunatics label yourself, your family and fellow supporters taigs, paedophiles, pigs etc.

 

It will be a much better atmosphere, without the sevconians debasing the game and themselves.

Refs gonna be a * tonight.

He won't be as obvious as 3 pens and red cards against us.
But he will allow them to break up the play, award them s foul for their dives while we get booted. He won't be card happy unless something really kicks off.
They'll be pulling at us and disrupting our game and getting away with it, they'll dive and get awarded for it, while we will be lucky to get a freekicl anywhere near their box.

Best chance we have is to start this game on fire and bang in a couple of goals early on. Then slow it down ourselves and control the game, before hitting them again for another goal or two in the second half.

Good to see the Wimbledon CSC still going strong. My dad (rip) was one of the founding members before he moved back to Ireland

 

That's got to be nailed on and I'd imagine the risk with mcgregor is huge but there is no one else I'd trust more to start.

That's a big concern for me. Their players will have been told to go down under any type of challenge (as they always do) to win free kicks which, worryingly, will play to their strengths and on our weakness. I'm also sure brother Madhun will duly oblige them at every opportunity.

Sorry for your loss, but your old man set the foundations for a top class CSC. I have been to a few in London and I would rank that as the NO.1 CSC in London for atmosphere and welcome to members and non members. The lads that run the club are good craic and look after all their guests and visitors. Good range of beers in the two bars and snacks from back home for a bit nostalgia. Due to the pandemic and birth of my son haven’t been back for a while now. But will hope to get along to the next European game.

 

I hope Ange plays Rambo RB and Juranovic LB, especially for the extra height when defending corners and free kicks.
