I don't mind international football for the tournaments.

We play far too often though and it should be everyone plays international football at the same time.

All this nonsense of playing halfway through the season is * stupid. I don't care when the J League or Australian league has just finished. Couldn't give a * that they stopped their international calendar because of covid. All international football should coincide with one another.

 

Ooft some travelling. He'll be lucky to make it to the stadium at half time.

When he does play against the huns, they'll * it with his pace.

As you say though, there should be standardised & universal breaks for it across the world. They're far too frequent

They either get international football in line with each other or clubs need to start telling FIFA to get *.

African nations tournament in the middle of the season is ridiculous

 

The best clubs and best leagues are in Europe and it's where football players want to play.

Also there is no regard for players asking them to fly all around the World for club and country, its all about cash for FIFA.

I've always been club before country so I'm a bit biased but clubs pay the wages of these players and should have first preference..

 

So hes not starting for Japan. Has a slim chance of making it back for the game.
Would be amazing to even have him on our bench in case of emergency. I doubt it will happen but it would be a big bonus

 

There should be a rule in place that states if a player is going to be disrupted/not able to play for club due to ridiculous distances traveled (our Japanese players, Rogic etc) we have the right to refuse them leave (with players permission of course)

Lots of other leagues took a break due to everywhere around the world except Europe playing international football. In the future I think winter breaks should be based around this sort of international break.

 

Japan winning 2-0, 50mins played. Maeda still on the bench. If he's not on in the next 10, he'll be a sub for sure.
