The boy literally has everything. It doesn't get spoke about much but how strong is he? Uses his body so well to lean into defenders. I can't get over how good he is and will be proper heart broken if doesn't sign on.

The thing I really like about him so far has been his attitude. He is, if I'm being brutally honest, too good for the spfl, but he doesn't act like he is too good to play in the spfl. Unlike some others we have had *cough* Ntcham.

Hopefully he feels like he is improving here and signs as I am going to be gutted when he leaves. Fingers crossed the lure of pretty much guaranteed game time and a crack at the CL is enough to tempt him to extend his stay here for a wee while, but even if we do sign him it will only be for a wee while as he could go to the very top if he keeps improving as he has been.

He’s also quite good in the air, which goes unnoticed

He's also very handsome, which goes noticed but can't be said enough.

I adore the wee guy but scenes like that while I enjoy them I worry there's shades of Tierney there with the Megaphone ramping up and feeling the love before walking away. At least Jota isn't making any false promises or statements of undying love and commitment. Mind you after seeing that he has to love us :56:Hope that big guy bawling in his ear is saying for gods sake stay!! Have to say though his face is saying jeez they're mental these people!:56:

No doubt in my mind that Jota enjoys his football here.

The reality is though, talented young players like him can probably enjoy their football at a number of places. For me, him staying or going elsewhere will be largely dependent on CL qualification, and I can completely appreciate that from his side.

:56: You have to balance it out - after all we once had to watch Willo Flood out there.

And then you get a Rooney-shaped curveball.

Name another club you would have 60k singing your name after a few months on loan. There’s enjoying your football and then there’s the passion of Celtic fans.

Honestly, this is what I think happened with Paddy Roberts. He had that passion and love, he loved his football, just not the same at smaller clubs playing mid-table football.

His touch, control, vision and passing are by far his best attributes but I feel like his defensive side of the game is often overlooked as he is so good going forward.

He puts in some shift at both ends of the park.

Can’t remember the last Celtic player to have such pinpoint crossing. His finishing is the only thing that he needs to work on and that isn’t even that bad.

Benfica - his parent club who he supports.

There are plenty of clubs with supporters who would fall in love with a player if he’s putting in displays like Jota has this season.

He’s been at Benfica since the age of 8, many songs they have about him?
