Biton has done really well for us this year , started as a covering player ,has actually played his way into anges plans and takes captaincy in his stride .

Agree , couldn't get more hun faced .

 

Not his fault. Played well up until then. Will be a big miss on Wednesday if we can’t appeal.

Aye he possibly deserved to be sent of at ibrox but had a good game up to that point. But he's a good player and certainly not a liability, other than the odd lapse.

 

Thought he slowed us down too much today. We really could have done with Calmac setting the tempo.

Nonsense. He’s been very good for us this year so far back in midfield. * players don’t stay at Celtic for years and become vice captain. Red card doesn’t change that after today. Could’ve been the difference between us going 1-0 down and dropping points.

The odd laps has cost us dearly, in the league and then in Europe.

These odd lapses have cost us massively.

He is a liability 100%.

Aye he played well recently but it’s doesn’t cover the fact he has cost us.

 

I didn't think he had a great game even before the sending off. We really miss McGregor's ability to find a little space and reliably receive the ball when the defenders are trying to play out from the back. McGregor links the CBs with the other midfielders so well, Biton just doesn't find the space and show for the ball.

 

Also, would be interested to see his stats on red cards per minutes played compared with Brooney and CalMac.

 

Taylor got robbed blind for the second time in 5 minutes, fell on his *, looked at the ref, and practically begged for a foul which quite rightly was never coming.

I’m all for giving refs pelters when they deserve it, but if an opposition player did what Taylor did under the circumstances I’d be livid if a foul was given.

Taylor * it and Bitton made a tactical foul. It happens.

 

Why?

 

So he should have been chased out of the club for momentarily putting his hands round Morelos when he was caught out of position?

By your logic should Alan Thompson have been chased out the club for his multiple sendings off against them?

Should Scott Brown have been chased out for unnecessarily getting involved with Lafferty and getting sent off? Or for when he kicked Neymar when he was lying on the ground and got sent off?

Or is it just Bitton that should’ve been chased out the club?

 

You’re right that folk are being far, far too harsh, but there’s no way he should be shoving the guy from the back like that. There’s no way it was the right call.

Outstanding for me today, moved the ball really well. Was stupid for second yellow, he must have known that hun * was just waiting for slightest opportunity . Massive loss for Huns game
