Tim alright, but he's a kid and he and his family should do what's best for them. Hope he signs Screenshot_20220129-205945.jpg

I like the Rooney comparisons - just in terms of how physically developed he is and also his infectious enthusiasm. Very, very excited to watch his development. I didn't realise he existed until very recently.

Even more confident he'll stay after that..

Watch the goal back and the way he chases Abada, goes in to the crowd and then to his family in the main stand after..

Great to see the above. Living the dream, what all us other diddies would die to of done..

Keep saying it but what a future he has. Physically miles ahead of the likes of Dembele already (although I appreciate he's tiny and worked hard)..

Boy looks a class act - much more effective than your average 16 year old debut. If he stays here he will play.

Left their left back for dead with the first ball he had slipped in..

Ridiculous how athletic and physical he looks for his age..

Better wake up to a new contract before the huns game....where he scores the winner :ange2:

That’s why I was saying it was obvious he was needing fast tracked. When you’re that far ahead of everyone athletically you don’t learn how to beat people with skill and just power them.

He’ll have had a tougher half hour today than he’s had all season.

He looks like he’ll be a physical freak like Adama Traore…

I just think he’s going to have an impact on Wednesday coming on late against a tired Barisic.

If they are good enough they are old enough. While I certainly wouldn't start him on Wednesday I'd definitely have him on the bench with a view to bringing him on later in the game when they are tiring. The thought of his pace against their already slow but also tiring players makes me smile.

STEPHEN MCMANUS has been credited for the debut of 16-year-old Ben Doak by Ange Postecoglou.

The Celtic youngster played the final 22 minutes against Dundee United after coming on to replace Reo Hatate

He only turned 16 just over two months ago too - being born in November 2005.

Postecoglou though revealed Doak has been training with the senior side at Lennoxtown for a while already - after a recommendation from former Celtic skipper Stephen McManus.

He said: "Ben's been training with us for a while.

"It was Stephen McManus who brought him into the group.

He's a fantastic kid who comes from a good family. He looked really composed for his age.

"He'll have grown up a bit today, it will give him a different perspective on life.

He probably would have been on the other side of the terracing if he hadn't been playing."

Doak has already been tipped to have huge potential in the game.

He was even linked with Premier League side Liverpool earlier in the month.

But Parkhead chiefs are said to be desperate to tie him down on fresh terms as soon as possible.

Has to be one of the youngest ever debutants for us. Impressive potential so lets hope we get him on a long term deal as soon as possible.

He looks quick and direct, also has good composure on him for a kid.

Excited to see how he goes, the taste of first team action should keep the wolves from the door for now. AKA * off Liverpool.
