    Not buying it, every other team adjusts to play on plastic pitches. In part particular the huns...

    We train every day on a plastic pitch, there was no other factor tonight rain, wind, snow... this was alloa ffs, alloa.... we played a slow game from the start, bringing on Mccarthy only compounded that.

    Our colts should be beating alloa on that pitch, a red Ash Park or Ayr beach.....

    We couldn't even pick up the pace after they scored we where that slow. I do get your point about plastic, clay etc. But if any of our guys can't play on a plastic pitch we are *, given how many teams now have them

    Yet we always seem to struggle on plastic. I’d say it’s a fair enough excuse, especially with the amount of passing and possession we had. It is a big factor.

    The Huns are more capable of playing on those pitches because they're more direct.

    This 433 stuff is utter fantasy. They're actually closer to a 451.

    Set pieces is what gets them through.

    Totally agree. Plastic pitches are completey fine. Top tier teams train on them daily so should be use to them.

    There would be complaints too if top division teams were facing lower opponents in January cup games on worn grass with big muddy patches.
    Lower league teams can't afford the upkeep.

    Yeh but the truth is players who play on this surface know to wait a bit and judge the bounce better , if this was livingstone tonight we would have drawn or lost with that performance.
