People need to remember exactly that, he got sent bullets and other threats. Nevertheless, last year he said that he was never treated as bad us from us Celtic fans, completely ignoring those death threats and the physical attack at the hearts stadium. Still can't believe he said that. To claim the Celtic supporters totally justifiable critic was worse than receiving death threats and parcel bombs...

Taking him back was more than enough thanks from us. He could have, after the second disastrous CL exit in a year, been realistic for once and pack his bags and leave on a good. But no, he decided to give us the finger and play Christie again out of position. His decision. He has now to live with the consequences of it. And the sooner he shuts up about us, the sooner us fans will too.

 

He should never have been rehired.

He came back very humbled but after winning in his first season he became extremely arrogant again. He should’ve left long before he did.

Imagine where we would be if we brought Ange in on the back of Rodgers.

I'm a bit more chilled now but there was times last season I literally hated his face.

 

I'd agree that he shouldn't now get pelters since he's left the club. However he brings it on himself by talking about and bad mouthing the club to this day as if he was in the right. Just comes across as an arrogant * and it's no surprise he's had fall outs at every club he's went to*

I wouldn't have had an issue with him returning to the club, or after the period as interum manager when BR left, that he then stood aside or remained at the club in some other capacity - after all other former managers such as Davie Hay or Tommy Burns did this - and I do think that Lenny has some attributes that could've benefitted the club to this day if he had taken up some other capacity - but being the manager was not it, that's for sure.

 

I guess there is a bit of justification in wot you say about being in the press and talking about the club recently, so yeh our fans are entitled to respond in that case , it just saddens me wen it gets abusive tbh .

So the huns were right all along. Ffs I'm all for slating his management and some of his comments since he left have been eye opening but the clatty, wee, jakey * patter and all the personal abuse about his appearance etc just leaves a bad taste.

 

This sort of patter always amuses me.

He thinks less of you than the * on the sole of his shoe. His comments, demeanour, and lack of respect for our club whilst in and out of the managerial role give credence to that.

Honestly, why some Celtic supporters go out of their way to back this * up baffles me.

I generally couldn't give a * what Lennon thinks about me but the day I could probably sit with a Hun * and go....aye you were right about Lennon.... is a * bad day. I'm ok to criticise him but I won't stoop to name calling and out right vitriol that I'm seeing from some.
