Would that be the best possible team we could put out for these 3 games?Also makes no sense loaning Shaw out and selling Henderson while we’ll be so short in midfield.Must be new signings as Ange said he’s been preparing for this scenario.

We're not really short in midfield. Turnbull is injured and three others will be away on international duty!

We appear over reliant on Kyogo because Jota is out. As long as Jota returns, it’s not that bad.

Hopefully the Greek has some form of fitness. Could be his 2016 Dembele moment.

We’re going to be as short in midfield more so for these 3 games than we’ve ever been with Shaw,Henderson and Soro gone.We’ll have McCarthy,McGregor,Bitton,Forrest,Dembele,Jota and Johnstone.3 CM and 4 wingers who are all coming back from injuries.It’s a nightmare scenario.Question is why loan out Shaw and sell 2 other midfielders when we need them the most?

 

Yeah, for these three games we are in trouble. Definitely need to get another couple of signings in. Hopefully we'd be going with:

Not great in terms of options off the bench, but needs must. That team could still win all three games, but it does rely on GG stepping up.

 

Ideguchi hasn't been called up for about 3 years

 

I mean, that's great if he's available, but Bitton is an able replacement. It's Rogic, Maeda and Kyogo that are the real worry.

 

It was inevitable. International players outwith the EU are affordable but this is the downside to it all.

Unfortunate but just have to get on with it, time for Giakoumakis to make his mark.

 

there is no way we should even be contemplating playing 3 games without potentially 6 players (read ccv could be called up for usa) .* that get the league extended

 

I agree but I'm concerned with Ange's comments about not getting the violins out means we will play with a reduced squad

Nightmare if we're without Kyogo and Rogic for a few games, never mind the new signings. Doubt the league would agree to postpone any matches.

 

I'd be very surprised if Ideguchi is called up, but potentially losing the other 3 would be bad, but it wouldn't be a disaster.

Replace Abada with GG and Ferhat (if he doesn't sign) with Forrest. We can still win this game 100%, the main worry will be CB for me.

 

Another new twist,reports saying players may have to isolate for 2 weeks after the qualifiers which would mean the European players wouldn’t have to travel.Hope it’s true.

 

I'll isolate for 10 * weeks if it keeps them all in Glasgow!

Yeah but it's unclear if it only applies to their domestic players. I dont imagine they can dictate how long overseas players need to isolate for upon return
