Rogic and Kyogo will definitely go, I am not as sure on any of the new players as apart from Maeda who made the last qualifiers squad but never even made the bench for a game the other two lads weren’t in the squad at all I don’t think.

It could be that Maeda isn’t called up if the Manager has no intention of including him. With Turnbull out I agree the midfield would be totally different without Rogic as well. A deal for Wolfe and the Japanese boys settling quick could ease that though.

I also like the look of Ferhat, he has a bit of Tom Rogic about him in his close control and ability to just take a player out the game with his ability on the ball. Other than Rogic and Jota we don’t really have anyone else in our squad with that ability so if he was available cheap he could be a real find.

Setting up 10 goals in a poor side in Ligue 1 is a good return. From the videos as well I find it hard to tell if he is right or left footed.

 

Have to be honest, I think Ange is letting the club and himself down if he’s being serious about allowing players to go on international duty across the period of the Hun game. I get not wanting to upset players who will want to play international football, but they’re contracted to us. It’s one of the biggest games of this season, and we’ve every right to refuse to release them. Hopefully Ange will do this, and is just trying to throw the media off the scent with recent comments.

Would a Maeda want to go to get no minute's....even Kyogo who regularly starts on the bench? Who knows..

Fingers crossed they don’t go mate. We can’t afford to lose any of the new signings if Rogic and Kyogo are away. Rogic and Kyogo are massive losses, the top two players we wouldn’t want to lose.

Ferhat looks interesting. Looks like he could be a real bargain.

 

One you can't stop players going to represent there countries plus if he did, he could lose the dressing room. Something I don't think Ange would do

 

The worst part is kyogo isn't even a starter. He comes on with 20 minutes. A long flight and sleep disruption when he might not get on the pitch.

However, the nature of the game is high profile for them.

We'd have to be really unlucky if maeda and kyogo were both called up. Pretty sure maeda ended joint top scorer, so the other guy could be in with a chance equally!

You are correct. In this case we have no option but to release the players if they are called up for these upcoming world cup qualifiers.

 

Unless we fire a naughty positive test in where they get out on a day before the big game so won't be needed for the national team... naughty

 

The real question is why are Asian countries playing international football at that point of the season? Why aren't they doing it when everyone else has international breaks?

 

We have to remember Kyogo still has a niggly hamstring,still think Ange is too honest to use that excuse to hold him back if he was fully fit.

 

He really needs to beat the hun.

 

its a bit like my own work at celtic, your always in a crisis. if they start refusing players away it will kill team spirit. the game against sevco is no more important than every league game before and after it
