Agreed. I wanted Anderson to win but realistically Peter Wright is far more capable of beating Smith tomorrow.

What a game of darts, had almost everything.

Wright definitely the better chance to beat Smith IMO.

Experience might play a big part tomorrow. Wright has been there and won it. Although Smith looks a far more composed player than before, I wouldn’t be surprised if the occasion got to him tomorrow knowing what’s at stake.

Unreal game again. 180s going in for fun. Can’t wait until the final.

    Just class that..

Thought Wright might've ran away with that but was some ding dong in the end..

Hope he does it tomorrow. What a match up it is. Proper hard to call..

If Wright can get a wee cushion at start I can see Smith crumbling, he's a big nervous *, whereas Wright can drag out a comeback.

Wright is simply one of the best players I’ve ever seen.

Massive balls on the guy. His ability to hit at the right time is absolutely frightening.

If he wins tonight he quite deservedly puts his name up there with a select few who have won multiple world titles. He is more than worthy of that accolade.

Very hard to call, this one.

Smith is a major talent, but I think Wright will prevail. I'm not putting any money on it though.

    Could be a classic contest.

Before the Quarters I fancied Smith but after the Semi-finals I’m leaning Wright. Should be an absolute cracker. Come on Bully Boy. Very fond of both players.

Wright wants it, that’s normally enough. Any tournament he’s had the bit between his teeth in for a couple years now he’s went and won.

Smith appears to have ironed out all the flaws in his mentality but this is next level if it comes down to a battle of wills.

I’d personally prefer Wright despite liking Smith’s style of darts playing - to shut the gammon crowd up more than anything tbh.

I’ve changed my mind on who I think will win. Wright’s 20 years older than Smith, played later into the night and had a much tougher and grittier semi-final battle. Wright’s on a sore knee and, even if it was very brief, showed some signs of fatigue at stages last night.

Smith’s been unreal on his doubles all tournament. I think he’s going to get it done 7-4 because finals don’t tend to go all the way if history is anything to go by. I think Wright will need to pull a couple of big Wright specials out of the bag to win it. Maybe a 158 against the throw in a set decider with Smith waiting on 40 or something to turn the tide. I’ve gotta go with Bully Boy though.

Smith gets rattled easy. His time will come but it isn’t tonight.
