Those are crazy numbers for both of them.

No question since he has been moved back into a holding midfield role he has looked back to his best and played well lately including on Sunday when he came on.

Nir has been a great servant for us
Played out of position for years when picked and has never complained
Aye he was good for a mistake or two but let’s be honest, any player who wouldn’t make any mistakes would be plying their trade in the top 4 leagues

His stint at centre back has made him a better midfielder I think, he’s noticeably harder and think’s more about covering.

He's an important part of the squad. He's not a superstar but not everyone can be, he's happy to play his part. He was peak in the Delia days and contributed a few goals.

20 odd game a season players are important to the squad

He will play far more than 20 games this season. Hasn't he already played that? He won't be far off I don't think and we would be crazy to drop him now.

He’s much more solid in the tackle now. When he covers the dangers he imposes himself very well using his body.

Probably, I'm not saying we should drop him just that he's not a first pick player, but he's a good bench option and good to step in when needed

Since the 17 season he's done 23, 10, 31,21,12(so far) before that it was 40 odd mainstay in the team.

My point wasn't meant to be about the specific number of games but more about a member of the squad that can be counted on when needed and won't neesesarily play all the time

I know we're thin on the ground for options with Turnbull out but Bitton in the 6 for us against teams that completely sit in does not work at all.

Ange should've known that from the home game v Livi.

Bitton has his uses but these games ain't it, unless injuries dictate it or you're seeing out the game.

3,4,5 touches of the ball every time, allowing the opposition to shuffle across or close him down.

We need reinforcements in that midfield badly. Particularly guys that will commit men and break lines.

Slows down the play to a crawl.

Nir Bitton was not the reason we didn't win tonight....the front line was.

Literally no other option unless people are still kidding on that McCarthy will ever be good enough for Celtic.

He wasn't to blame for tonight, but we really miss not having an energetic midfielder in his place for these type of games.

We weren't any better when we put McGregor there so I don't think it's Nir's fault. He also put a great pass through to McGregor who should've scored or at least put it on target.

It was Rogic who played him through.
