Sky dont have final say on jack *.

The league is well within rights to tell them to * ram it.

They paid for games, not for dates, not even for fixtures.

This is a hun myth that their sycophantic friends at Slysports are somehow holding all the keys, and will tell the league and clubs what to do.

As i said earlier, * SKY. * Murdoch and his right wing racist *, * slysports and their Sevco agenda, and * anyone who pays to watch their *.

    This.
It's down to Sky. The vote here is secondary. No covid conspiracy with them, they will do it for their own selfish reasons.

Money talks. Fans are secondary. spfl have to listen to their paymasters Surely that's clear by now from stupid kickoff times to the bad coverage of Scottish football

The majority of the clubs want the close brought forward, including 4/5 of the biggest clubs, shouldn’t therefore be up for debate.

    Lets be serious here

3 weeks lockout will be more than 3 weeks as history shows.

Everyone bar huns want the break now. They want it played because we have no crowd and have injuries and if played later theyll be missing the AFCON players.

The SPFL undersell the league to SKY, so sky will decide.

I doubt it will be longer as previous lockdowns were when the virus was rife and we knew little about it PLUS we have vaccines now with millions having had their boosters. Although it is allegedly more contagious the risk to health is supposedly far less also.

Oh and * Sky, * the SPFL and * the Huns...

Should be announced sooner than later, as a lot of plans will need to be changed..

I'm sure the players will welcome Christmas with their families for a change too.

Alan Burrows basically confirming that the deciding vote won't lie with Sky. It lies with the clubs. They pay for a certain amount of games and games are called off regularly for many things (weather and Covid being the main 2). They don't pay for certain games on certain dates.

As far as I am aware, there needs to be 9 clubs in favour to push this through for premiership and 75% from every other league. I worry about the lower leagues. They would surely want to postpone, have a winter break and keep the possibility of match day income. But you just never know.

The huns man :56:Few days ago they had absolutely nothing to fear, supposedly a far better team then us. Now the thoughts of this fixture getting pushed out they are losing their minds :Kyogo:

Common sense is all that is needed. It is likely that our game tonight vs St Mirren and their game vs Huns will be postponed - logic and sense says implement the winter shutdown now rather than all this fannying about. Someone grow a pair and make a decision ffs...

Decision to be made tonight apparently with no vote required - up to SPFL board it seems...

    Guess that's that horsed then...

Looks increasingly likely that the board will vote against the winter break being moved. Not up to the clubs but up to the board. No vote needed. They're saying that full capacity crowds in January and highly unlikely.

Aye full capacity crowd for the derby highly unlikely... How the * can the clubs not get a say in it like! Fuking joke.

Im sure even the smaller teams will have more than 500 FFS... 0 Fans in the stadium with break brought forward is safer anyway..

The Scottish Government has obviously told clubs that the restrictions will be extended beyond the three weeks.

So the needs of two Klubs can outweigh the wishes of the other 10?

I wonder what happens if the ‘10’ all just decide not to play.

They'd probably forfeit the points and the game.
