I said something and jeannie replied to it but it changed my name to yours. Haven't a clue how that could happen.

It's reported that 10 of the 12 Premiership clubs are in favour of moving the winter break - but Rangers are NOT one of them.

New restrictions were announced by the Scottish Government on Wednesday that have come as a hammer blow to SPFL clubs.

From Boxing Day only 500 fans will be allowed to attend matches, regardless of stadium size, for a period of at least three weeks.

January 3 was scheduled to be the biggest weekend in the Scottish football calendar, with Celtic taking on Rangers as well as the Dundee, Edinburgh and Ayrshire derbies.

As things stand those showpiece games would be played in almost empty stadiums, leading to calls for the winter break - due to begin on January 4 - to be moved forward and the matches rescheduled.

Of the Premiership clubs Celtic, Hibs, Livingston and Motherwell have publicly called for a rethink of the calendar, with a meeting taking place on Tuesday night.

According to the Scottish Sun, Dundee, Dundee United, Hearts, St Johnstone and St Mirren are also in favour of moving the break if logistics allow.

However, Rangers and Ross County are both said to be against the plans.

Gio van Bronckhorst's side face a trip to Aberdeen before they take on Celtic at Parkhead, and would be without Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun and Calvin Bassey for games later in January provided the Africa Cup of Nations goes ahead.

The 10 members would be able to pass a motion to move the break, but it's understood any decision will come down to Sky Sports agreeing

Both are discrimination regardless no matter how you paint it , turning against your fellow man for the choices they make is not a good human trait either , society preaches tolerance but that's not really wots happening here , vaccinated people are hating on unvaccinated, when the truth is you could pass the virus on to another and they could be hospitalised just the same as an unvaccinated person can .

This is my point thank you, they are trying to take that choice away by force and spreading fear , turning man against fellow man .

That's not the case though. Not sure why people keep on saying that.

Not to say there aren't other points that might be applicable to discuss but they don't relate to football so probably better done in another thread.

    Haha no * right.
Seriously though reading the above article it sounds like the winter break will be brought forward but only if sky says yes. Just ridiculous that an organization as poisonous as them who do not care one iota are making the decision here. I stand by that even if sky do the right thing and agree to reschedule the games they were going to show and the winter break gets brought forward it is a disgrace that they were basically given the final say of yes or no on this despite almost all the clubs been very clear on wanting the winter break moved forward.

"when the truth is you could pass the virus on to another and they could be hospitalised just the same as an unvaccinated person can"

That's not true. Factually incorrect, but frequently, incorrectly stated.

Edit: but as just advised better discussed elsewhere. But still 100% wrong.

Money talks. They know our game against the huns will give them a world wide audience yet they treat Scottish football with contempt. I'd love to see our viewing figures compared to one of their super duper Premiership games like Burnley v Wolves
