I don’t think it needs a vote…. If I recall .. after the previous fiasco with dossiers and missing votes.. I think the rules were changed to give the spfl executive the decision. Hopefully taking into account the views of the majority.

Fair play. So far that is us Hibernian and Motherwell. Not sure if Aberdeen have as well. It makes absolutely no sense to not just bring the winter break forward. It will be very clear by the end of December early January if there is any danger from this new variant in terms of severe illnesses requiring hospitalization/ICU and what it does in terms of deaths. Up till now when case numbers have gone up significantly such as last winter the deaths and ICU's went up 2 weeks or so after the case numbers started to shoot up. So far it looks like this is not as dangerous and if indeed that proves to be the case we will know that long before January 22 so just bringing the winter break forward makes sense.
Unfortunately, unless all or close to all the clubs push for this it won't happen as we all know the spfl want to help their team any way they can.

 

M8 I don't care for conspiracy * , I have my own mind to make decisions, I won't go believing everything the media say ,governments say or scientists for the very reason everything they have done regards this has not helped the situation, they say 80% uk has been vaccinated , out of the 20% who haven't maybe 10% may need hospitalisation, as supposedly vaccinated won't need hospitalisation, so why can't we cope with the 10% , probably because being vaccinated has done * all to stop people requiring hospital too .

It really is that simple of a no brainer. It should be a very easy decision but we all know why it isn't.
