So all games between Now and the 26th December are allowed full capacity, but from the 26th onwards we all have to drop it to 500?

Yeah that will teach the virus...it obviously works on days of the week.

If its sooooo serious, why the * is all this not Implemented as of today? Before the fixtures tomorrow?

There's not a snowballs chance in * the winter break comes early. No chance at all. Sky will be rubbing their hands at the thought of everyone cooped up in the house watching the game. All the new subscriptions to watch the game. * rats

Unfortunately this is true, whatever sky says goes. Can't help but feel this swings advantage back to the huns, they of course live playing in empty stadiums. * sickening

Absolutely scunnered with these *, all these vaccines, boosters and passports just to be living with restrictions again.
I'd rather the spfl would just postpone the league for 3 weeks till this * is over with.
And like others have said it gives the huns an unfair sporting advantage.
Question must be asked are they going to pull this * every winter when cases are on the rise.

It's a disgrace. Almost as if someone somewhere is trying to give a sporting advantage to a certain new club.

Shut the league down for the winter break now. SPFL need to show some backbone here but I can imagine they'll be on the side of giving the advantage to the huns

And the fact that this scenario just * us and helps the zombies massively.
No question at this point the winter break should be just brought forward and the 3 sets of games from this weekend on through January 2nd should just be rescheduled. Nothing else is in any way fair from a sporting integrity standpoint but I would be beyond dumbfounded if it happened. Be it sky the MSM the sfa they all must be rubbing their hands with glee at the advantage this hands their team.

It is an absolute no brainer just bring the winter break forward but I would be massively shocked if that happened as this situation is an absolute godsend for the zombies.

Everyone at Celtic recognises the difficulties presented to society by the current pandemic, and the health and safety of all must always be our priority.

In light of today’s announcement regarding supporters attending matches, Celtic can confirm that it has today requested that the SPFL bring forward the scheduled winter break and reschedule the fixtures affected by the regulations announced.

The game owes it to supporters to explore all opportunities to maximise the prospect of all supporters being able to attend matches and support the game they love.

Having exact numbers allowed doesn't make sense. It should be a percentage of the capacity. 200 people in a 200 capacity venue will be crammed in together the same as usual. Much more sense to say 20 or 30% of the capacity.
