The game should be postponed until crowds are allowed back into paradise.

The logic here is so *.

If we accept even hypothetically that this isn’t dangerous anymore then guess what?

We don’t need to isolate for 10 * days.

I won’t watch any game with capacity restrictions.

Don’t finance it, don’t facilitate it.

It’ll still be serious for those that are vulnerable though so we have (or I feel I have) a moral duty to isolate to protect them

At this point the winter break should be just brought forward now and none of the games after tomorrow should go ahead.

I'm usually supportive of any preventative methods however, if things are that bad just now, then why don't we bring the winter break forward and start the circuit breaker now if they are really serious about stopping it.

I know what you mean but at the end of the day there are people who are ready die at a gust of wind unfortunately, that’s the brutal reality. We should take proper precautions if you’re ill obviously but treat it like a cold or mild flu (which also can kill old or infirm people) rather than like you’re radioactive.

The government don’t realise how lucky they are that the people of this country just sit there and take it...

Did you isolate every other winter when the flu ravished the vulnerable?

The elderly and vulnerable are a known group..

They know who they are and how to protect themselves.. it no longer needs the other 98% of the world to do the same..

…. but you keep ‘doing your bit’ if it makes you feel good.

Agreed. My mum spent 9 months in intensive care with Covid and is currently bed bound and having to learn to walk again. Common sense is needed for cases like this but not everyone in the country are in this position

Hope the SPFL call a halt to the league until after the shutdown. Farcical that we'd have to face they * with only 500 fans in the ground!!!

Why are there some in here trying to frame this as a ‘sensible lot’ argument versus the anti vax right wing nut jobs?

You’re allowed to question things when you don’t agree with them on a case by case basis.

There is no solid logic nor data to back up the current lot of restrictions, they are formed in front of a backdrop of hypocrisy and illogical bullshit. You’re allowed to agree that there has to be caution exercised by society as we enter a period of uncertainty over Christmas but ask why 50,000 were at Hampden on Sunday but they’re not allowed to be at Parkhead on the 2nd. Amongst plenty of other contradicting current advice.

The ‘it’s only a cold’ brigade don’t help anyone but you are allowed to question things without being a conspiracy crank.

total waste of time having 500 people inside a 60000 seater stadium, it's not too bad if you're a Morton or Livingston who get maybe 1500 fans, but nah pointless having 500 especially for a game against them, just cancel and wait till we can go full capacity again.
