See the thing is, when he first came in his end product was * brilliant, was extremely dangerous. Just needs to click for him, honestly think it’s just a goal he needs.

I thought he was very poor. No end product with his shooting or crossing.

He had quite a few decent dribbles, maybe 3 or 4. But he's hopeless when it comes to doing anything with the ball.

At best, with his dribbling and pace, he could be an impact sub in the league. But his shooting/crossing technique is really poor and lacks any power.

I think he was successful once with taking on two and then ballooned it over the bar.

His decision making is terrible and the amount of times plays broke down because of that yesterday showed.

I would rather we give young Moffat a run of games instead.

Completely agree. Would rather see what Moffat has to offer now.

I think that was a corner to be fair. Defender for a block on it.

His end product needs huge work as does his decision making. Great dribbler at times but as someone said above, no point nutmegging 2 players in a row, drifting past another if you can't make a 5 yard pass to someone running through on goal. When Maeda comes in and Jota gets back to full fitness, I struggle to see where he fits in to be honest. I think we could see Ange move Jota to the right hand side and play Maeda on the left and have Mikey as back up but even then, I struggle to see where he gets game time to improve himself. Possibly a loan needed if we get Maeda and Jota back up to speed.

Infuriating to watch. Theres a player there, but consistently gives the ball away at the critical moment.

We need him. We don't have the depth to allow him a loan even with the new guy coming in

Even with Moffat and Montomgery capable of operating there? It's a balancing act. He needs game time, especially at his age and with the injuries he has had. Moffat could easily be 3rd choice on that left wing.

    Aye, spot on.

Can skin players for fun but his end product is largely abysmal. Rarely gets a shot on target, most of his crosses hit the first man and he regularly passes or runs into an opponent.

If it clicks, he can be a good player for us.

    he steps into christie's boots.
i think if he scores he runs away on his own to celebrate.
I always liked wingers who really take pride in setting goals up as if they were a goal they scored.
i think he should be moved on whenever we get 2 more transfer windows under ange's belt.
no time for passengers - he needs to be more direct, improve his decision making in the final third and keep the head down to make any impact in the team for the rest of the season.

Really hope it does click. He’s an old fashioned winger but as you say his crossing is terrible and decision making is poor. If he gets a run of games, I think he’d come good. Injuries haven’t helped him either

Frustrating to watch. Thought he had his best game since hes came back, but his decision making and knowing when to release the ball is shocking at times.

Desperately need to get another LW in january, i just dont rate the guy

Ange rates him and really embraced him at the end of the game.

Clearly just lacking that final ball/cutting edge just now. Will it ever happen for him here? Who knows. A frustrating guy but I'm willing to give him a chance. He's a young player who has had horrid injury setbacks for the last few years.

That skill/flick in the first half to get by the defender was utter filth. Maybe I'm biased because I like flair players that can do a trick or two.

He's trying so hard. You can see it..

Can see it when he misses or * something up like that home game where he * the square ball the other week..

He must feel the weight of the groans whe it doesn't come off..

I love him but have given him a bit of stick lately..

Think it's important we try and stick with him though. He's gonna be playing for us in the next few game's (unless he's injured) and I think he'll eventually come good again..

Ok it's a big part of it but it's just that last wee bit that's missing so far. He's started skinning men with ease again and being much more positive....it's a goal he needs to bring that complete confidence to say right I'm back..

Even an assist. A goal would be huge but had that through ball to Rogic came off in the first half yesterday? He would have been a completely different player after that. The confidence will ooze out of him. I've given him a lot of stick over the years and I made it clear a wee while ago I didn't think he would ever be good enough for us but the last few games, he's managed to start getting a wee bit more confidence when he's on the ball and drifting past players. He does need to get that final part of his game sorted.

That's why I thought a loan would do him the world of good. Someone like Aberdeen, a big club struggling to create anything in games. They would suit each other. After we get Jota back and potentially bring in Maeda, I struggle to see where he fits in and he absolutely needs to continue playing football matches.

He scored the other week and it was ruled out when he wasn't offside....was a great finish..

He assisted that game as well..

He'* the post a couple of time's and been really unlucky..

He needs a game where that kinda assist you mentioned...comes off. Then putting it all together and scoring..

A complete type performance from a winger and we'll then see him flourishing..

If he's good to go midweek, St Mirren is a great game for him to put it all together. As you've said, he's involved a lot more and going by men for fun again just now..

For sure. But how do we unlock that, is it a coaching issue, or is it in his heed? Hes no kid, with his natural ability, and age, should be tearing it up. Just a one trick pony at the minute.

We see it in flashes tho. I think it’s mostly in his head. A good performance and a goal and build from there, I’d be hoping he came good.
