that's never going to happen :56:dead funny how you think that we're actually that important to them :56:

If that man doesn't take up that position it will be because he walked away

I’d say the fact the manager is saying it’s having an impact on the team and Juranovic saying that’s what the players spoke about in the dressing room after the match means it is making a difference.

The only thing this board care about is money. If the protest ends up putting the club in danger of missing out on money from a European run or a league title then that’s the only way the board will act.

It’s not the GB putting us more at risk of losing games. It’s the board.
If Higgins gets employed we probably won’t have a singing section to even debate about.

    Aye, in a nutshell.

It's amazing to think that the only time a section of folk piped up was to start a "you can shove your silent protest up your *!" chant...

Yeah there has been and where I sit, just to the side of the south west curve, diagonally opposite the GB, there is normally a couple of small groups of fans who will start up songs....they seemed hesitant and so did those around me.

I personally didn't know whether to stay silent as a show of solidarity or to sing and try to help create an atmosphere...it was a weird one.

I fully support the guys but it's difficult as individual fans, like I said, we are between a rock and a hard place.

And this is it in a nutshell, Val.

Most folk piping up here are either to ignorant to realise this, or genuinely just don't give a * that their supposed "fellow" Celtic supporters are being still harrassed by the polis for supporting their team and creating the atmosphere that most folk cant be bothered to do themselves.

But yeah, just shut up and sing!

Even if you take the silent protests out of the equation, a large number of supporter groups and online forums (TC included) have joined together to protest against the appointment, as stubborn as this Board may be they cannot ignore the numbers here, this isn't just a small minority.

I agree that the Board generally don't give a *, but honestly cannot see this appointment going ahead.

If the players are now talking about it, then it's definitely working contrary to what some have said in here.

    Exactly.

I’m not even the GB’s biggest fan but I honestly can’t get my head around people thinking they’re the ones to be criticised here.

All they’re doing is showing what it’s be like under Higgins.

Chronic patter, so far wide of the mark and lazy as *. Just ignore the fact I've supported the GB in literally every single issue they've ever put forward till this. Yous are a * embarrassment the the club and are playing right in to the boards hands. * brain dead.

I appreciate your optimism but as I keep saying a business decision is not going to be affected by us. Would be nice to think that we had that kind of power but realistically this board has thumbed it's nose at us for years and I don't see that changing any. The man himself may decide to walk away but if he's a hun he's going to be really enjoying our disquiet. This board just don't seem to feel obligated to listen to the support.

I find it quite incredible how so many are just so resigned to running up the white flag because they have never seen this before in Scottish football. It might not work, however it has overseas. Just seems so parochial. In Germany for example fans groups across the league have done it a couple of times over the last decade and achieved their goals.

German fans took on Sky with a silent protest and won Jeannie. I find this level of pessimism so depressing.

    This.

All the while the guys in the North Curve have been creating world class atmosphere for years, and whilst other fans have been watching it and enjoying it, they've probably failed to realise that guys where having police cameras SHOVED in their faces, been met with continuous police harrassment, dragged out of the crowd for singing - so many other instances and that's just INSIDE the stadium!

The Board need to engage with supporters, come together and get this sorted sooner rather than later, they have an obligation to listen to the views of supporters, it's ok to take the fans money when it suits them.

There's more chance of the huns admitting their club died.

Probably cause Bankier is one of them...
