I don't even mind that he went for the pass but there was zero awareness and conviction in it..

Sold us for their second equaliser as well..

 

Was a mixed bag, done well at the goals, * up some other stuff and then that blunder at the end that should have been 4-2.

90 minutes will do him well but he needs to pull things together. He used to be a good finisher, now hes * it to shoot or shooting from daft angles and then passing it when he could take it himself, he never even thought about finishing that last chance himself kept looking right and left.

 

Brilliant for the equaliser and perfect pass for the penalty.


Badly needs a goal. Had too much time to think about it at the end and hesitated.

 

His decision making as a whole is shocking. 99% of the time he completely * up an attack

 

He was a sublime finisher. Shown it for the first team and was electric all through the youth's with either foot, set pieces the lot..

 

He will bury one next week v Ross County, will be made for him.

He was a little unlucky I thought, if his goal stands, he buries that chance..

Badly needs something to go for him, not scored since 2019..

 

Played well tonight but that was really disappointing the * up when 1 on 1.

 

I'd go so far as to say he Pat his Shats. Was raging at the time but that wee move to set up Henderson was world class.

So overall I'd say he's making steady progress. Definitely not a write off as yet.

I feel like there's been a couple of them now where he's came on and been bursting through and just needed to slip someone in on a 2 or 3 on 1 and * it..

Easter Road he done it and messed up a square ball to Kyogo when we had men over. Done it tonight. Done it in a recent game was it the diets?

The other year when he came on and was through on goal against the Huns at Hampden, he missed but there was no doubts about what he was gonna do or lack of conviction....he just pulled it past the post..

Tonight he looked like Pukki after the miss. Wanted the ground to swallow him up..

In saying all that though, he is making more of an impact now and looking a bit more like his old self. Still long way to go but there is signs that he could do us a turn sooner rather than later..

 

Have pondered this a lot over the last couple of years...why has he never been played there before? Surely got to be worth pursuing more often.
