Or the amount of games we play and lack of squad depth leading to lack of rotation, leading to guys playing 60 odd games a season with training in between.

I wouldn't even have put Kyogo on the bench the night. He's too important to our season to be risking in games that mean * all. A huge mistake.

Bit of a car crash interview from Ange on Radio Scotland tonight, blaming the injuries on his training, he literally said "we're putting them under undue stress" and that they wont be tempering the training in light of the heavy schedule.

Big Ange, the destroyer of hamstrings. Must have them just sprinting about and doing RDL's all day in training.

Ralston, Starfelt, Jullien, Taylor, McGregor, McCarthy, Rogic, Jota, Forrest, Johnston, Dembele, Kyogo and Giakoumakis has all been injured for periods before tonight. When we did have injuries we were dropping points.

    We dont have the quality

Rightio lads, we all know he’s made a mistake by playing Kyogo tonight, but I think it’s equally important to get around him right now, because he’s going to need us and the team is going to need us.

Hope to * he has another trick up his sleeve with some signing in jan, our season is about to fall apart if the club does not get replacements in for the first 11 injuries. Do we even have a fit striker for sunday....?

That makes no sense, training is not helping with injuries but we will keep doing it.:39:

What a * *!!!! Who in their right mind would have thought this was a good idea!!!??? Be lucky to see Jota, Kyogo, Ajeti or GG before the winter break.
He’s not made many bad decisions but tonight’s is sheer negligence. More than 6 points behind that mob at the break and wave goodbye to the title. It’s all on Ange now to come up with something.

Bad decision aside. We all know, he knows, * up.

We just beat a decent Betis side with a 2nd string. That's * impressive and whilst we rode our luck, we were competitive as * in this group

Some of the abuse aimed at him is a joke. Probably the same fannies that wanted him sacked a month into the job, that jump on anything negative they can. He made a mistake and it's up to him to deal with the consequences.

It was a mistake to play Kyogo tonight no doubt about it.

On the positive side, to have the team play that well with the second-stringers is a great achievement. Ange has built a system that is not completely reliant on individuals. Everyone has a role and your job is to play your role. The players all looked they understood what they were meant to do, and the mistakes tonight were generally down to individual execution. To win like that against a team that is 3rd in Li Liga is a fine thing.

Having said that, I think tonight Ange's response was an emotional, defensive one and for the first time indicated a mishandling of the media.

I would have much rathered he took responsibility than went down the path of blame. He knew the fixture list well before tonight's game. It was his choice to play Kyogo. A word of advice, take responsibility, learn from it and move on. This is a crucial time of the season - we need Ange at his best right now.

Big Ange will realise he has made an error and, while I agree with everyone else who thought the likes of Kyogo should not have been anywhere near that team selection, I won't go overboard with my criticism as no one is infallible. Remember, Ange inherited a team with all the problems our previous manager had left him. We still have the likes of Ajeti, Barkas and Bain here and it's obvious that some of the younger players are still not ready to step up to the plate so, let's keep the faith in the big man as I'm sure the SMSM will seize on the opportunity give him pelters over the next few days

    ^^

Good point as well. Usually when we stick a second string out, we constantly give away possession and look completely disjointed. Tonight almost every player looked happy to take the ball and play a pass or make a run.

    * it ,it was a bad call but i genuinely think the whole team is putting in consistant performances that the loss of individuals wont be as catastrophic .abada has the great knack of getting on the end of things and may well be a sensation if he is playing up top .

I really hope that decision won't be a defining moment for the season cos it was a really stupid decision to make it was a dead cert he would get injured
