Gee whizz, now relying on Ajeti as our only back up striker.

Ajeti squad number is number 10 and would be fitting if he scored since Berties number was ten .

And Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou revealed Giorgos Giakoumakis also faces Hampden heartache after being ruled out of the Hibs clash.

Greek frontman Giakoumakis has been out since November 7 with a knee injury.

Postecoglou revealed: “He had to have a clean out of his knee. So he’ll be about two, three weeks.”

His record was amazing for a team relegated in that league... But when I saw the price we were getting him for, I started questioning why.

Why didn't a big team in that league go for him?

    Why is he so cheap?

I admit I was excited but I also don't know anything about Dutch football.

Looks to me that he might be a bit injury prone and his goals to game ratio may never happen again.

However, I still believe we've signed more good players than bad and that's all we want each window.

Do think having a different type of striker would help in closing out games. Hopefully back soon to allow the likes of Kyogo to get a break later in games.

Considering this is his thread and he won’t be avaliable this month then it is a perfectly reasonable comment to make,

Be lucky if hes fit for when we return in January, looks a bulky player and has played about 2 hours of football in 7 month.

Is it 2 weeks he's out? Could be a real chance he starts against the huns.

Not ideal, but if there's ever a game to make an impression...

One of the reasons that he was cheap (besides that he is a bit older then average) is because his club relegated to a lower division. Most other strikers played in one of the 4 big clubs. What makes it more of a special accomplishment from Giakoumakis, he is the only topscorer who played at a club with very bad players around him (otherwise the club wouldnt have relegated) and still he made so many goals. For all the others it was much easier to score many goals because they had a good team around them and they got a lot of chances to score.
