    You're right these things do happen in winter! My neighbours thermostat went on the blink. They were getting roasting hot water in the toilet cistern, cold water and outside tap :88:

    I appreciate things in the east of the country were a bit dodgy with debris and even big dairy cows flying about:fear: however, it's been mainly ok through here in Glasgow. The thing that get's me about the bad weather these days is that everything needs a name to it. When I was younger we only had good or bad weather, helluva bad weather, brass monkey weather and baltic weather.

    When i was young the weather was ,, get your wellies on,, the tar is melting we carved our names in it,,you cant afford gloves put the sox on your hands,,,lets go and get conkers
