The way he takes the ball and controls it is unreal. He looks like a real level up from everyone except maybe Rogic for taking a ball in and controlling it in a way that makes it look like its stuck to his foot.

He reminds me of Sinclair when he came, I remember seeing even the way he moved that he was a step up.

 

We’ll probably try and get him on loan for another season.

This board is idiotic and nothing in their reign suggests they’ll do the right thing here.

 

Think your right there about the league and the fact that guarantees champions league football. If we can do that I think there is a very good chance he will agree to sign.

Upgrade on Bitton and 100% that team can take us to a double no problem and then carry us in to the new season with a strong start.


Turnbull I like and think will get better as he gets older - much like Abada, young in their careers and needs better managed.

But getting the likes of CCV and JOTA tied down will be massive. Jota really could be the best deal we have made in over a decade or two.

 

I really like Bitton in that holding role. He's classy on the ball, he's a brilliant passer and he likes to get stuck in as well. Could we find an upgrade on him? Potentially but I think he's played well enough to deserve his chance to play in the position he was bought to play in. My only criticism of him in that role is he sometimes becomes far too slow on the ball and doesn't give us that extra drive in midfield when we are maybe chasing games, like the Livi at home. That's where I would play Turnbull instead

 

Agree with everything, this part specially. It is the only reason I would want someone else in (not McCarthy who is proving to be a poor mans Bitton). I've nothing against Bitton, think he is a very tidy player - I would just like a better player who can add tempo to our game and urgency.
A very good Soro would be nice - if only we could develop him more.

I think it will he tough to keep him and its more a reflection on the Scottish league than us as a club or fanbase. If we were in the EPL or other decent sized league, we'd be one of the most attractive clubs in the world.

I hope I'm wrong tho and he wants to stay regardless

 

We need to start pretending he’s * or we’re going to miss out on him.

In all seriousness I am starting to get concerned a German team like Leverkusen could come in for him. It felt like they snapped up Frimpong from us on a whim.

We have the cash, it should be getting thrashed out now.

 

It’s all up to Jota at this point. If he wants to stay, we’ll pay up for him no doubt, he’ll be touted a 20 million pound player by the end of the season. 6.5 million for him is a bargain.
