Who Do You Miss Not Being at the Club?

Not necessarily about the ability or anything, just for them to be here.

I desperately miss Mikael Lustig and Scott Brown. Sad that their time is done and sad that the sheer force of personality’s away.


The biggest and saddest one would have to be our Tommy Bhoy though. Tommy Burns is the one I always associate with us the most, I wish he was there to see us do 9 in a row, to see us do a Quadruple Treble. He would have relished the last decade and he just missed out. Genuinely makes me gutted.

Rodgers’ wider coaching set up.

We were a lot fitter and had less injuries than we did under Lennon and now Ange.

I miss Scott Brown also. Don’t think him being a bit part player would ever have worked, but he definitely would’ve had his uses still.

Brown for me. Probably not have got much game time under Ange but him, McGregor and Hart would have been great for all the new guys that came in and also the younger players. I genuinely wouldn't mind if he came back to the club to learn his trade as a coach.

Would also have loved to had Tommy Burns in this coaching set up. Him and Ange would have some interesting discussions on their attacking football philosophies.

I do miss Brown tbh, but at the same time he clearly wanted to continue playing and he would've been a bench player this season, so I'm happy he's finishing his career first choice at a decent-sized club.

Opposite to attitude, but I do miss Christie, he was starting to thrive under this system and I think, had he stayed, he'd have found his 2019/2020 form, and then some.

 

Think that’s a pure myth about Rodgers. His first season no doubt but by his 3rd season he’d destroyed Tierney’s fitness to the point he needed to consider retirement, he’d ran Broony into the ground, he’d ran McGregor into the ground, Griffiths was a lazy fat *, he’d gave injections for Rogic to get by against the likes of Dundee pretty much * him for two years (he’s just getting back just now). He was relying on loans like Weah and Burke coming in to provide the energy he’d sapped right out the team.

He drove the fitness into the * ground and had absolute no concern for players health.

 

I’d put that more down to Lawwell’s downsizing.

Brown and McGregor would’ve been rotated more had he got McGinn instead of Mulumbu.

Kris Commons and Craig Beattie were great lads and fine goalscorers. I miss having them about.

 

Haha I just threw in Commons because a lot seem to hate him for some of his comments since he’s left. I liked him though, when he was here anyway.

A part of me rues the fact the Elhamed and Kelvin Wilson both left us for nothing more than personal reasons when they were really hitting their stride in the hoops. They’re my answer.
