Crap peno but some of the post on here are silly,were all * off(just as he must be)but lets give the guy time to settle.

 

Hopefully in a few months time a professional striker will be able to stick a dead ball away from 12 yards. Today was a massive chance to apply some real pressure by going top and he's * it, people are right to be * off.
By all means we can revisit this if he scores a barrelload and we win the league.

 

If he was the designated penalty taker, Ange must take responsibility for it. Juranovic has done nothing to suggest that he's not our number one penalty taker.

If he wasn't the designated penalty taker, *. Why was he allowed to take it? McGregor should've pulled rank and told him where to go. Ange should be fining him.

It's one of those odd things that happen in the game that really shouldn't have happened. One that is so surprising as everyone outside the club had raised eyebrows when GG picked up the ball for the penalty. It was either preplanned or spur of the moment. Both odd.

 

I think I’m like most on here, perplexed at why Juranovic didn’t take the pen. He’s been clinical with them and they are a confidence thing.

I also could see it in GG’s eyes, was never going to score it.

 

I do my best to form sensible opinions and not get too carried away by emotion, but I still cannot believe we * that penalty yesterday. A gift from the *'s and the boy had absolutely shat himself.

I put it out my mind last night and got on wae it, wee drink with the Mrs and a good laugh. But now, up the next morning, and I can't get past the thought of how it all transpired, it's undone all the good work and progress we've made over the last few weeks, and we're again on the back foot. After the last 18 months of torture we should have made sure we got over the line yesterday.

But no, we * shat it. Disgraceful.

 

Still * sick about that penalty. This * single handedly cost us two points in a crucial home game.

 

Gotta pray motherwell do us a favour now and they win meaning this weekend somehow turns into a successful one...

 

So long GG, it was nice to almost, kinda know you... Seems like he's lost the fans already. Cue complete lack of confidence and disappearance into the periphery of the squad.

 

Were a fickle bunch, but another kyogo in January will have the guy benched for good.

 

Don't sweat it, a few missed overhead kicks will cheer you up.

Don't want to see this clown on the pitch again unless Kyogo is injured.

Wasn't a fan of this signing and was constantly reminded that "he was top scorer!" but for me that amounts to very little, especially given his record before his wonder season. All the goals were also pretty standard fare, nothing a bog standard striker shouldn't have been burying, plus a * load of penalties...

That being said, he wears the hoops now. So he has my support.

My link went down so I missed his penalty but by all accounts it appears to be a straight mix of arrogance and atrocious technique.

But again, hes with us now. I'm willing to give him time.

But I've certainly not been overly impressed with him so far.

 

I would have liked to see the reactions on this forum on the Henrik Larsson thread after his earliest appearances.

I was at the game yesterday and not impressed by Giakoumakis, but FFS it's early days.

 

That penalty was so easy to read by the keeper, nice and close to him as well to make it a comfortable save. The 'anyone can miss a penalty' excuse doesn't cut it, especially when you have Juranovic on the pitch. * inexcusable. As for the rest of his performance...* awful. I was hoping we wouldnt see performances like that from our strikers after Ajeti was dropped but that was every bit as bad as the * Albian Ajeti serves up.

 

Early doors with him but I feel people were slagging ajeti for a very similar performance to the one he gave yesterday. Hopefully he can step up, still getting to grips with the system or something.

 

* has a long way before I retract that. Still raging at him for yesterday, was utter muck.

 

He's attempted 3 overhead kicks now, looked stupid more than once, stole the penalty off our pen taker, who has 100 percent record, and missed a sitter to win the 3 points. I'd say it's justified.

I'm not buying Ange saying GG was designated taker, he's just defending his player.
